"H-hey, wait up!" I chase after Diogo, since he appeared to be headed towards Littleroot Town.

"Are you going to the Professor's Lab?" I ask, hoping I would I have someone to travel to the lab with.

I wake up later than planned, having not heard my alarm go off. Oh no, I'm going to be late! I think, scrambling out of bed and getting dressed. I skip breakfast and rush out of the house. I can still make it if I don't waste time, right?

I run in the direction of Littleroot town, until I spot two other people also going the same way, so I assume that they're also going to get a Pokemon. Upon seeing them, I catch up to them and slow down to walking speed. "Hello! Are you two going to the professor's lab too?"

"Yes, we are," I say in a slightly less pained tone. "Hey look, it's right there. Let's go." I enter the lab first, noticing the very minimalist decor and it's functionality.

Before following Diogo into the lab, I introduce myself to the girl.

"I'm Elias, by the way. What's your name?" I ask the girl as I begin to enter the lab.

"I'm Hana, nice to meet you!" I reply, following Elias inside.

As Hana entered the lab, a girl ran towards us frantically.

"H-help! My dad is being attacked by some wild Pok?mon at Route 101!"

"Attacked?" We should go help him! Wait... We don't have Pokemon yet, what can we actually do? Oh that doesn't really matter, I think. "Let's go help him!"

"Use these." A boy around my age threw Pok?balls at us.
