I shot Steve a glare, then turned back to Tia.

"No, he didn't die. Though it feels like he did... I haven't seen him since I was six, when He moved to a different region. He was only supposed to stay there for a year, but he didn't actually come back."

"Then he must've…if he didn't come back. If something else didn't happen first."
