I do like the backplate of the Switch itself; it’s pretty cute. However, I’m not a fan of the dock or the joy con - I like to mix and match my joy con, and I feel like the brown joy con can only really be paired with the matching yellow one, and you have to leave the brown/yellow joy con on when docked for the ensemble to look good. The dock is just a little garrish.

I mean, I don't have a Switch and it's a nice design, I like it, but I'm not sure if I would buy
that one or maybe wait till there is another themed Switch with a design (and game) that I
like more. Guess for now I will wait and see.

Looks like there will be a set with just the dock and joycons. No backplate included. There hasn't been a price yet but it'd be pretty easy to order online through a proxy.
However if the amazon pokemon center store lists it, you should be able to buy it from there.
Feel free to send me a message if you need suggestions or understanding how using a proxy works if it's the other store or they region block it.

I told myself that I'm never gonna buy another Switch this year after getting the Splatoon bundle but oh well, here you go again Nintendo. I like the joycons and the design at the back of the unit. The dock looks like someone just slapped Pikachu and Eevee stickers on it lol. But we'll see.. If it goes through, I'd still have one space in the family membership.

Wow Joycons aside(which I can simply replace with custom versions)I really like this system. This Switch Tablet and Dock is actually unique compared to Odyssey and Splatoon's bundles.

Might consider pre ordering this, If I fail to get one of these I wouldn't really mind.

I'd love to order this one, but I really don't have the budget for something so expensive right now.

I kinda don't either, especially because of the hundreds of dollars I'm spending in a little more than a week. Going to Anime Weekend Atlanta and staying in the con's hotel. That's over $200/night to stay there after tax, and I'll be there 3 nights. That doesn't include the con badges, gas to drive there, food, and other spending money. O_O

I probably will NOT end up getting it. The reality is, I'll probably buy a Switch finally sometime next year. But I still really want this and wish I could justify it.
