The first two trademarks that showed up were Solgaleo and Lunaala. Same person who copyrighted those copyrighted the Japanese names of the starters as well as some other things, so it's copyrighting by proxy.
They both look pretty good, but I like Solgaleo's look more. Lunaala looks a bit off to me, but I'm not sure why.

I think they're both pretty great-looking, but I'm sticking with Moon as my main. I tend to prefer cool colors (cool as in cold, like blue/purple).
I'm also really attached to moon-related things, for some reason.

It's interesting to see the polls right now, because based on people's reactions, I thought the Sun legendary was more popular.
In all honesty, I like both evenly but, I am a bit meh on them as I see the Moon Legendary a much bigger Zubat and the Sun Legendary a much dominant Pyroar. But this is just my opinion about them. I respect your opinions if you like them a lot.

Well, aside from the "Bat" element, I don't see the Moon legendary as being close to a Zubat. Definitely not in the way the Sun legendary looks close to a Pyroar. If anything, it reminds me more of this:

I like the designs of them fairly equally, but I have a hard time believing Solgaleo is going to not be a fire type (either mono or fire + something else) and there's already a fire lion. Idk it just doesn't really make sense to me why they'd go with that concept.
Lunaala seems cooler to me tbh, especially the typing potential. Dark? Fairy? Dark + Fairy? Dark + Psychic? Cool. But I'm not deciding which version to get just from the legendaries.

tbh i dont even like any of the two. they dont even look like pokemon especially solgaleo which looks like a digimon. maybe i just need more time to accept them but ill be getting moon for sure.

I'm thinking because of Sun and Moon being related to space and cosmic stuff, Solgaleo could be a Psychic/Fire and Lunaala could be a Psychic/Dark. Just my opinion really...
