Stakeout's effect: This Ability means that the Pok?mon’s moves can deal twice the normal damage to any Pok?mon that switches in or enters the field mid-battle. Soul Heart's effect: This Ability raises Magearna’s Special Attack by 1 each time another Pok?mon in the arena faints.

What are the new phases all about?
 
Grubbin looks really cute. Yungoos and Pikipek are pretty neat too.
The fast button for using Poke Balls is a really nice addition, much better than the "last item used" button showing up in the item pack.
I just hope that I can turn off the extra information in the battle menus. I've always learned what it effective and what isn't by getting to know the Pokemon myself, and I feel that that information cheapens the fight a bit. I also don't have to rely on any knowledge, the battle system is basically telling me which moves I should/shouldn't use. Please be an option.
 
Types for the newly revealed pokemon evolution's
Pikipek ~ Steel/Flying
Grubbin ~ Bug/Ground
Yungoos ~ Normal
 
Since I really like birds in general, I'm pretty happy with Pikipek and looking forward to seeing its evolutions. Grubbin has potential for me because I like that it's a maggot, but as it stands, the design doesn't look all that good. Again, I'm looking forward to seeing what it will evolve into. Meanwhile, Yungoos is pretty underwhelming.

The different phases for Solgaleo and Lunala and Magearna’s Soul Heart Ability are interesting.

Yeah, I really hope it's an option we can turn off as well. There's making things more accessible, and then making things too accessible.
 
Yungoos totally looks like Donald Trump. But it's the "Loitering Pok?mon", so it should've looked like Bernie Sanders.

Well they were showing gameplay from the beginning of the game so its kinda pretty much confirmed that they are early mons

They were just guessing the evolution types, Pikipek is normal flying
 
I really like all of the new normal pokemon we've seen but, strangely, I really dislike the two mascots and Magearnea or whatever.

I need Grubbin in my life.
 
I loved Yungoos the moment I saw it. So grumpy-looking. Please don't compare him to Trump. No one deserves that. ;;

Pikipek's design might be one of my favorite bird Pokemon ever.

And also please give me a Yungoos as well. Just look at its badass, mischievous face. I need that lil guy.

I'm hoping the storyline isn't heavily based on mega evolution. We need something new. C:
 
People are probably going to attack me for this but I'll be honest, I'm pretty disappointed in the newly revealed pokemon so far. Especially the Nekkoala and Yungoos. People thought they were running out of ideas at gen 4/5 but these don't really look like pokemon tbh. It looks like they were fanmade from some 13 year old. I really like Pikipek though.

I mean, I'm still getting the games. Also, I'm sure they will eventually reveal something really cool. That's how it was for Kalos when Swirlix, Meowstic, Phantump, Goomy and Sliggoo were all revealed.

Hah, seems event **** are gonna be region locked and stuff again. Will they ever ditch that (apart from the real life location things)...
