"A Chinese rumor about Pok?mon Sun & Moon has seemingly gained credibility after predicting a Poison/Fire-type Pok?mon which was fulfilled with the reveal of Salandit. You can read it below, translated by Cresselia~~ of Smogon Forums.

  • There will be no traditional Gyms and no Pok?mon League in Alola. Your goal is to actually create one. After you do, an Elite 4 will appear which are the leaders of each island
  • The final starter evolutions will be an Archer, a Wrestler and a Siren
  • The diamond stones will be collectible throughout the region and act similarly to Mega Stones but not exactly
  • New Pok?mon based on a dolphin, sea cucumber, snowman, mushroom and a rugby monkey are there
  • Rockruff’s evolution is a Werewolf

Not sure how reliable of a source pokejungle.net is, but seeing as how other online communities that I participate in have already begun discussing this I figured I would try to spark discussion here as well.

As for my thoughts, I sort of hope that this is real but at the same time hope it isn't. Rowlet's and Popplio's final evolutions are really amazing in my opinion... but Litten's final evolution just seems really inappropriate. I mean, look at where it is shooting fire out off, sure it is not exactly in that region but it comes very close. Not to mention it's design just seems to scream Fire/Fighting type at me.

I like Rowlet's and Popplio's "final evolutions" but Litten's isn't doing it for me. It reminds me too much of the Fire/Fifhting route and if we go that way then we would have 4/7 Fire Fighting starters which is ridiculous.

Popplio's final evolution screams Fairy type to me. I wanna Moonblast Popplio!

What if that Litten evolution wasn't Fire/Fighting, but Fire/Dark?

The Dark Type involves elements of cheating, which is what some Heel wrestlers do.

If I may correct myself, according to the leak, Litten becomes a Fire/Dark type which I am much happier about.

So far I'm picking Popplio but after seeing the "official" final evolution of Popplio and being apparently being Water/Fairy, I'm definitely picking Popplio! I wanna Moonblast my way through the Alola League!

Also Corocoro should leak this week so we may potentially see some starter evolutions.

New leaks from CoroCoro today. According to Serebii.net:
"The first images from CoroCoro have leaked and have revealed the latest news on Sun & Moon. As always, do note that translations are preliminary while we work on them. The bear is called Kiteruguma and is Normal/Fighting with the abilities Fluffy and Klutz, while the ghost is Mimikkyu and is Ghost/Fairy. It has the ability called Disguise.

People in Alola are scared of Kiteruguma to the point of having warning signs about it. It is really strong and can break anytthing in two. It likes to hug its trainers but is strong. Raising one puts your life in danger.

Mimikkyu hates sunlight, preferring dark places. It is rumoured that the cloth covering its body is a strategy to avoid the sun. Don't try to remove the cloth it is said that those that do become afflicted with an illness . We'll bring more as it comes"

Still officially on my team are rowlet and sandalit and maybe drampa

The ghost/ fairy look like a dead pikachu to me....

I wonder if it will have an evolution that requires max friendship or affection in Amie to evolve? That's assuming the new games even get Pokemon Amie (hopefully they do). This Pokemon actually appears to have a really small body and head compared to it's outfit, seeing as how there are two holes in the stomach of the cloth for it's eyes to peer out of. I'm not even sure if it's head and torso are two separate parts of it's body, from the looks of it they might actually be merged.

Mimikkyu is actually my favorite Pokemon to have been revealed so far. It looks like an edgy, corrupted version of Pikachu and as stupid as that sounds I actually really love it. This Pokemon is definitely going on my team when Sun and Moon release and I am going to hunt for a shiny version of it as soon as I can in the games, regardless of it's shiny color.

Really like these guys, I might pick some more later as I still don't know all of them.
 
That's a cute as hell Ghost/Fairy Pokemon. I'm hoping it's a good one.
The red panda Pokemon looks... weird. I'm not sure what to think of it.
 
So we have now a killer care bear on the loose and an unloved Pikachu merchandise. Interesting. We haven't had a bear line since gen 5 with Cubchoo and Beartic then Gen 2 with Teddiursa and Ursaring. The ghost is an interesting type and has an interesting backstory.
 
If the bear was brown then I'd like it, but then it'd look too similar to pedober and probably cause controversy so... Idk I like its design but not its colors.

As for pikachu thing, I absolutely love it. Hands down my favourite Pokemon this generation so far.
 
Those are some pretty bizarre Pokemon. I wonder what does two new abilities do?

I really want some new features to be revealed besides more new Pokemon.

Nothing that exciting - you can also ride tauros, lapras and sharpedo, Eevee doesn't get any new evolutions, and it shows off the new Pokemon-amie for a little bit.

There are a few things that kind of look like the crystals being used, but it really doesn't show off anything

apparently the leaked pictures that are shown on this video have been deleted throughout the internet, so i think they might be sorta true?

lol i hate how the show whats going on in that kids life, like c'mon just show actual gameplay and thats it!!
