So do you guys think mega evolution will return is this game? so far it doesnt seem like it will its usually around this time they start revealing mega evos it would be strange for them to get rid of them

Gumshoe = detective and apparently Gumshoos is supposed to be based off of a detective with its hair that looks like a detective's hat. It's also called the Stake-Out Pokemon, stake-out being described as "a period of secret surveillance of a building or an area by police in order to observe someone's activities".

Which is what Gumshoos does when it hunts for prey. It waits and study it's prey's movements then attacks at the right time.

Hyper Training update:

Earlier this week, the Youtube Channel for the Japanese magazine, V-Jump, put up a video detailing IVs in Pok?mon. In this video it gave a bit of clarification into the process. In the video, it showed three different Garchomp with different IV spreads and each of them used a Silver Bottle Cap at Hyper Training. This allowed for one stat to be increased, in this case the Attack was increased on all three Garchomp. This means that you'll be able to use the Silver Bottle Cap in exchange to increase one stat only. It was also mentioned that there may be a Gold Bottle Cap, and questioned if it will be used to increase multiple stats to their maximum. It is still not known how the Bottle Caps can be obtained and if there's a limit to the amount you can find. We'll bring more on Hyper Training and Sun & Moon as it comes

I think they will, it would be weird if they just abandoned the Mega Pok?mon just because they wanted to try something new, plus Game freak understand the competitive scene more, the hyper training and the battle royale mode are evidence of this, so why take away a mechanic which changed something significantly when you're trying to support it more? It wouldn't make sense.

Possible leaks!

The confirmed ones:
--There is a pokemon similar as Pikachu
--The mascot legendary will be a lion and a bat.
--The regional bird is a woodpecker.

The unconfirmed ones:

--Mudsdale, Drampa have pre-evo.
--Bruxish, Mimikyu and Togedemaru have no evo or pre-evo.
--Rockruff has three evos depending on the starter you choose.
--A pokemon is based on a shovel.
--Wimpod is the Gyarados/Milotic line of this gen and evolves into a chimera of Scolipede and Kabutops.
--Cutiefly will evolve into a hummingbird moth.
--Salandit has two different evos depending on gender.
--Three pokemon are based on rock-paper-scissors.
--Hala will be one of the E4.
--Lillie is the key to main plot and perfect Zygarde.
--Besides Zygarde, eight legendary pokemon for main plot, others are event legendary pokemon.
--Tapu No.3 looks the same as THE strange souvenirs.

This was from a while ago, but I think people ignored it.

I think this person was a translator for the Chinese games or something so his English wasn't the best.

I honestly think these will be the biggest pokemon games to date, maybe we might get a second region to go through? Come on GameFreak we have wanted this Heart gold & Soul silver!!!

I think the shovel Pok?mon was actually confused for the Sandcastles, because they have little shovels on them.

We can assume there will be Island Guardians for each of the Islands, which there is 4. In addition, Oricorio also kinda give this assumption more credibility since there is 4 Oricorio, one for each Island. Since there is an Electric Oricorio, and Tapu Koko is Electric, we can predict that the other guardians are Fire, Psychic and Ghost/Fairy, matching up with Oricorio's forms.

This also gives the impression that Pom Pom Oricorio lives on Melemele Island and that Hala may specialise in Electric types.
