The lousy weather makes me envious for all you in the UK since I love rain. Autumn and winter is the best seasons. But at least I was born in Sweden so winters are long. But we have no night time in summer hahaha only sunlight even after midnight
Also I find it awesome you have a northern accent! Do you listen to the "Abroad in Japan" podcast with Chris and Pete? I imagine your accent would be like Pete Donaldson, no?
You'd definately live Northern UK if you love the rain, I'm not a fan of it but it is the slight positive of now living on the southern coast - it doesn't rain quite as much and we get the warmer summer. I've never visited Sweden but I have been to Norway so I'm guessing the weather is quite similar? It was very cold so it actually made me grateful for the British weather
can't imagine constant sunlight though, that would really destroy my sleepI've not actually heard the podcast but I Pete Donaldson used to be a host on a radio station that I regularly listened to and we do have similar accents, he's from Durham so he's further north then me (he comes from quite close to Scotland I think) so his is a little bit stronger. If you've ever heard the ex-footballer Peter Crouch speak then he has a very similar accent to me (well a male version of mine anyway) as he's actually born in the same town as me, we're from an area in the north that borders Wales so have a bit more of a subtle northern tinge in the accent then Pete but we all pronounce our words the same
