Poll: Do you fully preheat the oven before using it?

Maybe its just me, but who really preheats their oven all the way before using it? I mean come on, it takes forever.

Because my head just randomly thinks these things up. I was making a pizza yesterday and was just thinking about it. a lot of my friends usually don't so i wanted to see if anyone else did?

lmaoooo!!!! tbh I would fully preheat the oven for like a special cake or Thanksgiving dinner but otherwise, the pizza is going in as soon as I turn on the oven. always comes out great!

for something like reheating a pizza, lol no. I just set on the default temperature, toss in, and then pull out when it's fully preheated. cooks it the perfect amount p much every time

though for making stuff from scratch, generally yeah.

I always preheat otherwise my pizza always gets browned cheese on it before the rest is cooked all the way. My bf works at pizza hut and if I don't preheat I'll never hear the end of it.

Yeah, unless I'm heating up leftovers. Idk why but for some reason I always get impatient when it comes to leftovers.

I don't. I mean, it takes years just for it to fully preheat and by the time it does, my food would already be at a decent heat for me to eat.

It doesn't really take that long if you do it while preparing your food. If it's just a quick meal with no preparation, then I do something else while it's heating up.

Yeah I always preheat the oven before putting the food in because I don't want to risk overcooking/undercooking the food. I do exactly what the box says

I try to preheat when I remember! I usually turn on the oven while I'm prepping whatever I'm going to make. I tend to forget to preheat if I'm just reheating something though.

I always preheat the oven. I rarely cook but when I do I follow all the directions exactly. But I have started preheating the oven only to get annoyed that It's taking too long. Then turned it off to make something else without the oven lol.

I mean if you don't mind the risk of e-coli or salmonella. Left overs and other stuff like that are already cooked, so you don't have as much risk.
