Yes, of course. I always do because my mom wouldn't when she'd cook, saying it would "stink up the house", but our food was always undercooked and never tasted good. I've learned from her mistake.

I always preheat otherwise my pizza always gets browned cheese on it before the rest is cooked all the way. My bf works at pizza hut and if I don't preheat I'll never hear the end of it.

Yeah, unless I'm heating up leftovers. Idk why but for some reason I always get impatient when it comes to leftovers.

ok, but if you do this with pizza rolls, then you just end up with like 95% of the filling spilled out everywhere

I preheat only if I'm using a pizza stone,otherwise I turn the oven on ,prepare whatever is going in and throw it in there.This thread reminded me of an old George Carlin bit:

"There are only two states an oven can possibly exist in: heated and unheated. Preheated is a meaningless f****** term."

You are not the only one to wonder this! I have wondered for years but was always too embarrassed to ask, haha.

I do not preheat the toast oven, but I usually always preheat the regular oven UNLESS I'm in a hurry.
