The starting bid is 500 TBT. No bids lower than 500 TBT will be accepted. Bids must be strictly higher than the previous bid, and must be made in increments of 50 TBT. In the event that a bid is not made in an increment of 50 TBT, the bid will count, and be rounded up to the nearest 50 TBT.
With respect to TBT rules, I make the following interpretations:
Auctioneers may only accept bids that are posted publicly in the auction thread. No bids may be accepted in private conversations, profile posts, Discord messages, or other threads.
Buyouts may be sent over PM, since they by definition cannot be outbid. If a buyout is made, it will be announced publicly. Anything that isn't a buyout must be made in this thread in order to count.
The end time of the auction must be clearly stated and should not be increased or decreased after it has already started. All bids must be placed before the specified minute of the end time starts. For example, in an auction that ends at 6:00, only posts that display a timestamp of 5:59 or before should be counted. The edit time should be used for bids made on edited posts.
The end time of this auction is 7 PM EDT on June 20, 2020, or ten minutes after the last bid has been placed, whichever comes second. In the case of the end time being extended, bids with a timestamp of the new end time will count. For example, if a bid is made at 6:59 PM, bids with timestamps up to and including 7:09 PM will count, since timestamps do not show the second of a post.
Auctioneers are expected to see their auctions through to the end. Unless valid reasoning is provided, an auction cannot be canceled. Otherwise, the auction winner may give the host negative feedback for failing to complete the sale.
The auction may be canceled due to a lack of interest if there are no bids by 11:59 PM EDT, June 19, 2020. (This is very unlikely to occur.)
