[POSSIBLE SPOILERS] Compilation of info from the recent leak/rumor!

For those of y'all who can't be bothered to look through what was in the pastebin, here's some key things I noticed and would like to point out from it:

- Hints to alternative designs for the town hall and airport much like in New Leaf as shown through 'mermaid_dodo', 'mermaid_town_hall' and other variations of that being 'astro', 'modern', 'castle', 'sweets' and 'zen'.

- Dream suite or something related to dreams will be in ('dream' and 'dream_tent') as well as Katrina ('katrina' and 'katrina_tent')

- Many will be excited by this, the cafe will return, as evident by 'cafe' and 'cafe_tent'!

- Police returning ('police_station' and 'police_station_tent')'

- Other tents include: 'adventurer' & 'adventurer_tent' (not the campsite, as it has it's own thing), 'auction_house' & 'auction_house_tent', 'club' & 'club_tent' and 'redd' & 'redd_tent' (does Redd get his own shop perhaps?).

- 2 strange things in there was something implying a school ('school_01', 'school_02' and 'school_tent')?

- Something named 'seven_eleven' and 'seven_eleven_tent' was in there? 7/11 collaboration is back?

- Another little thing I noticed was 'ms_tent' & 'ms_01', 'ms_02', and 'ms_03' likely referring to the museum and having multiple colors? Same goes for the Able Sisters with 'sisters_01', 'sisters_02', 'sisters_03' and 'sisters_tent'.

- Also had 12 NPC villager slots listed there!

Please tell me if I missed something, and share your ideas! <3
 
This is likely a troll and fake :) please don't get your hopes up. The OP stated that it's likely a troll from 4chan who is now making fun of the community ^^
 
I don’t believe my post was the original thread. Someone has already come forward and revealed the pastebin was faked by a 4chan member. I do believe the leaked screenshots are real. Maybe the original poster of the screenshots will be able to confirm or deny more stuff as they progress through the game. I doubt they’ll be able to reveal anything major like what we thought was real in the pastebin since most of that stuff would’ve taken weeks or months to unlock

One of the screenshots revealed the Able Sisters as a special visitor potentially before they have a shop on the island. That would confirm sister_tent at the least.
 
i’d love if it was all true but i guess we’ll have to wait and see
 
I just read this on the french website... from the person who has been posting pictures and seems to be playing early.

"At one point, Nook asks you to choose the location of three houses on the island and to build their interior and exterior furniture. Once done, three new villagers arrive to move in."

That’s a bit hard to believe...

As much as I’d love doing the interior/exterior decorating for the villagers, I doubt they’d force us to make those decisions—for three houses no less! Seems much too intense for the average player imo ;ェ;

For that matter, I’d really dislike three villagers moving in all at once (though I guess that would put us back to the five “starters” of NL)

As much as I would like the option to change some things in villagers house, I wouldn't want to be responsible for designing the whole thing. I am looking forward to the way villagers design their own houses. If anything, I'd like to be invited to make some changes as a villager request.

I would also prefer to have one move-in at a time. I liked the idea of three showing up and you get to choose one.

Agree. I wonder if new villagers start off with tents before getting homes. That would make more sense for making the player design the interior furniture.

Part of me wants to stay away from these spoilers. I don't know how to feel about the fact that someone out there seems to be playing the game a week early, if not pulling off a massive photoshop prank.

i agree! i'm interested in seeing this myself.. there are known to be people in the past idk about ac games, but have gotten access to play unreleased games early. idk how they've done this but it's happened for some games before! i guess with the gam around the corner, its not too distressing bc we'll find out the facts soon enough

There haven't been many photos or posts from the guy who supposedly has the game. There's like 16 pages, but it's mostly people fighting or asking questions.

I think on page 3 he posts what I consider to be proof he actually has it. He typed the username of one of their forum members out on the on screen keyboard in the game. He's taking photos of his Switch console with the game running, but I haven't seen anything very noteworthy yet. It does look like he actually has the game though.

Yeah, those are the pics I saw too. Not very interesting aside from being the closest we have to evidence of it being true. Still can’t believe that about the villagers’ houses though... *shrug* We’ll see ;ェ;

Yeah, I'm not so sure the villager houses thing is true either. But they could have explained it wrong, or it translated weird. I was also thinking it could be possible that we can choose from certain houses/exteriors and then they attract specific villagers based on the designs you choose. I'm not sure if I'm articulating that very well, I'm typing fast on my phone. That theory doesn't seem very likely either, but it's fun to speculate.
