Preorder problems

I went into GameStop today to preorder the Switch Lite and they said it isn't available for preorder yet. It's release date is September. That's really odd. I went to Walmart and they also said they can't take preorders for it yet. Now I wonder if the September release date is solid?

As far as I know, the Lite models aren't currently available for preorder outside of the UK. Not sure why that is, but I wouldn't worry too much about it - I'm pretty sure the September release date still applies. Hope that helps!

Actually, it looks like certain preorders went live pretty recently (like in the last hour or so). If you're in the US, you should be able to grab them online now at Target, Best Buy, and Amazon for starters.

Are you from the US? This was clarified on Nintendos US website for the Switch Lite, at least until recently I heard. This is because Nintendo didn't have FCC approval yet and Nintendo wasn't allowed to sell the Switch Lite until then. This means preorders can't be made until the approval is granted, if I understood correctly, but it was granted yesterday: https://fcc.report/FCC-ID/BKEHDH001

Okay. I hope America can have it soon, when I read this thread I got confused because America almost always get things first before any other country. You'd think U.S. and Japan deserves it first.

I picked the yellow because it reminds me of sunshine and warmth! I kept going back and forth between the turquoise and yellow. The turquoise is so bright and stunning. And yes, not long to wait. I need to find a game to get to play while I wait for NH. Any ideas? I was reading about a game called Spiritfarer that caught my interest but I haven't checked to see if it was released yet. I like games like that, or Harvest Moon. I'm excited!

Nice! Great choice! I spoke about the dilemma with my whole family, and Mum said, you can't buy all three! I giggled, and then my siblings helped me decide, my bro wants the grey, and my sis wants the yellow. So to not to get confused, I went for turquoise! Phew, thank goodness that's sorted without arguments!


I'm not sure if you're into this, but I bought Yoshi's Crafted World, because my favourite Super Mario Bros. characters are the green ones, which are Luigi and Yoshi. It looks awesome, so I bought it! Oh god, it was a lot of money but I'm sure it's worth it. Almost fainted with the price lol.


On the plus side, it's a game where all three of us are into, so we don't have to buy $70 on each game. We're pretty cool with sharing stuff. Like, if I ask my bro for a game to play, he's happy to play either FIFA Wii game, or Super Smash Bros. My sis is occupied with her laptop, so it's all sweet. Plus, I did preorder a game that comes out a day after my Dad's birthday.


That's Lady Layton, which only me and my grandma plays lol. Then my bro and I will share New Horizons, so while we're playing, our sis will play Yoshi.
