{PSA for My Nintendo Members!} [Sweet AC 3DS themes able to be bought/redeemed!]

Just wanted to let any fellow "My Nintendo" members know that currently there are two sweet animal crossing 3DS themes that you can "buy" using points.

The first is Nintendo 3DS theme: Animal Crossing: Gardening Weather for 200 Platinum Points (the points you get from Pocket Camp/Other Nintendo Mobile Games.

And if you have any gold points from digital purchases, you can use 20 of them to buy the Nintendo 3DS theme: Animal Crossing: New Leaf Swimming in the Sea theme.

Hope this little PSA can help you make your 3DS look more animal crossing oriented if that's your thing.

Seems odd that they would have different themes for different parts of the world though.

Just checked the EU gold points and there it is Splatoon: Squid Sisters, Splatoon: Inkredible Theme, and Animal Crossing: Summer Fun.

Also, yeah a lot of special are region-locked sadly... Bruh give us Luigi Mustache

Seriously Nintendo, why do you do this to us?

Does anyone know if the codes themselves are region locked? Like if someone from Europe gave someone in North America their code, would the person in North America be allowed to enter it?

I think they are region locked like everything else on the 3ds sadly. I tried one of those mustache codes for the theme and unless someone took it already it said it was invalid.

Yeah idk either, is it so hard to just release stuff everywhere money-greedy ****ers

Wow, thank you for letting me know that they were releasing these themes!

Though I feel really bad for people who live in other parts of the world who don't even get a chance to get certain DLC. It's like having candy being taken away from you.

I got these two a couple days ago. Was able to obtain all four spring/summer/fall/winter themes for free via My Nintendo

And yeah re Platinum things for EU it's still the same old ones that says My Nintendo on most of them so yeah :| Bad ninty, bad ninty.
