I get that a lot too! xD
There can be days on end where I don't draw because it just doesn't "feel" right if that makes sense
like I don't feel like I'm ready to, that sort of thing I guess;; xD

I think the major differences is touch because when you draw, you're used to feeling your hand rub against
the texture of paper, or the sound of lead against paper, physically rubbing out mistakes, etc.
Another thing which depends on what tablet you get (going off by the one I use), you don't look down when
you draw, you're looking up and this can be something very off-putting because you're not used to it.
It's almost like you have to learn how to draw all over again because it's so different xD

But when it comes to creating artworks, nothing get's crumpled up, nor do you rub off any greylead, get those nasty dirty
artist hands from pencils, etc.
Removing mistakes is a lot easier, digitally evolved, etc. I think if you ever get the chance, consider getting yourself
one! The smaller and cheaper ones are around.. $100 or so, heck, the one I'm using is like $120.

It's something I think every beginner artist or casual doodler should experience;; ;; v ;;

awesome, thanks for the in depth reply ^^ which tablet do you use btw? if it's $120, i'll definitely consider getting one! i've thought about it for a while too, but the one everyone recommends is like $200 and i'm too hesitant to get it for that much

Actually I think I ended up staying up a couple of hours that night xD
It reaches a point for me when I'm too tired to be tired so I end up not being tired;;
if that makes sense xD

Allnighters aren't fun, at all;;

I hope you were able to get some sleep in the end! xD

Ohmygosh there's a raffle aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh

I need some of this amazing art but I'm always low on TBT ;-;

I've had two in the past and for me, there wasn't any difference xD

The one I'm currently using is called Intuos Manga small sized, which makes no difference for me since I have small hands;;
which can sell between $110 and $140, depending on where you get it from. It has little control buttons at the top such as ctrl, shift, etc. It'll come with a CD which has the program that you need to install, and from there you can adjust the sensitivity of the pen. I think might is about halfway so it's not too sensitive, this'll add to creating smoother lines in the program you use. xD

For me, these small tablets are just as good as the larger more expensive ones if you're not fiddly with buttons.
They're also more compact and easy for travelling circumstances, especially the small ones if you're interested in taking it to school, etc. But be careful about putting things on top of it. It can potentially ruin the sensitivity, thus breaking it. Which happened to my first tablet. xD

Update me with how it goes! I'd love to hear about your experience <3

Yaaaaaaaaay! And you're welcome! ^^

Seeing people mention drawing on tablets makes me wish I had decent stuff for drawing digitally. I have an app on my phone that lets me draw, but it's not very good because I have to do it using my finger and it makes my drawings a little messy because of that.

I used to be able to draw using the paint mode on Super Smash Bros. for Wii U until an update came and my Wii U didn't have enough space for it. I was more comfortable with drawing on that, but that wasn't much better because there wasn't any transparency tools or stuff like that.

I like drawing on paper, but most of my colouring pencils are rubbish. Also, I don't like when I rub something out but you can still see what I rubbed out. And it's not easy to get good pictures of my drawings on paper so I can share them on places like here.

Anything I try to draw on a phone ends up looking like hieroglyphics... xD
I have seen people draw using a game with DS's and they're aren't too bad;;

Something I can recommend for pencils, try using a HB pencil then go over it with
a 2B pencil or permanent marker, HB pencils are light and easy to rub off so that way
they don't leave any marks when you rub them out xD

And when I colour things, usually I use watercolour pencils, doesn't make much
of a difference to me, I suppose ;; v ;;

And if you use a scanner in a printer, it'll transform pages into files onto computers,
you should be able to do them at school or a local library if you don't have one at home;;

I've also seen people posting their drawings they did on their 3DS or Wii U on Miiverse and some of them look amazing ;-; They use this app/game thing called Art Academy/Pokemon Art Academy (PAA for 3DS, AA for Wii U). I wish I had that, but you can only get it on the Eshop, and my mum never gets me those Eshop cards.

Ohhhhh I didn't know any of that before! Thanks for telling me! Though I have no idea which pencils of mine are HB, 2B or whatever... It says what kind on a few of my pencils, but I have no idea on the rest.

I hope so too! I'm in the midst of a coughing fit and it's exhausting when you constantly
cough for a long time and don't get a chance to relax and breathe.. xD

I regret allnighters too! I once pulled an almost allnighter before work, I had about 30 minutes
sleep then went to work really tired and couldn't function, let's just say managers weren't happy
with my work efforts that night xD

I love coffee! I usually drink it on weekdays though, never had monster before ;; v ;;

Aaa thank you! <3

I love your avatar xD
It made me laugh;; so do you prefer Batman over Superman then?

Yeah, I can relate to Batman totally.

I don't know, I guess Superman is boring...

Please don't kill me

But apparently I'm the most like the Hulk http://www.thesuperheroquiz.com/
