So I know there is going to be a lot of disagreements but I would like to see what events you think were the best and some were the worst. I will start with mine that goes from the Best to the Worst:

1. Halloween
2. Turkey Day
3. May Day
4. Earth Day
5. Stamp Rally
6. Wedding Season
7. Fireworks Festival
8. Toy Day
9. Bunny Day

I am curious about New Year’s eve. You didn’t wanna include it? I thought it was the best one possibly except for maybe Halloween.

1. Halloween
1b. [New Year’s Eve if you include it in spite of no furniture from the actual event - just orderables]
2. Toy Day
3. Birthday
4. Turkey Day
5. Fireworks
6. May Day (Rover bias)
7. Earth Day
8. Wedding Season
9. Museum Day
10. Bunny Day

I would say...

The Best
  • Halloween
  • New Years
  • Fireworks
I found Halloween to be the most fun, but fireworks and New Years to be a close second.

The Good
  • Toy Day
  • Wedding Season
Toy Day was just okay for me, really didn’t compete with Halloween for me. Wedding season was good because it wasn’t intrusive if you didn’t want to participate and there was some good prizes available!

Meh, Okay
  • Turkey Day
  • May Day
  • Earth Day
  • Stamp Rally
I’m going to be honest, Turkey Day took way too long and I didn’t enjoy it. The rest were not memorable but not bad- kind of neutral.

Nope
  • Bunny Day
Nuff said!! 😂

want to preface that i don't count "earth day" as an event, since we didn't really do anything iirc other than a few special NM tasks.

1. stamp rally/NYE's
although they were both small/short events, they had more charm than all the others. stamp rally also had the added bonus of being something new. the plaques were cute and i enjoyed having a reason to go around and actually explore/admire my museum again, since it's designed so beautifully in this game. NYE's was just super cute overall with the music and the villagers waving their glowsticks in sync during the last ten seconds.

2. may day
i like mazes, what can i say? rover is also one of my favorite NPCs, and i loved his briefcase item in NL so i was delighted to get it back in this. it was simple but fun. more mazes would've been great but i can imagine people complaining about it, especially if they're not particularly good at them, so the one is fine.

3. bunny day
an unpopular opinion, i'm sure, but i enjoyed having so much to do. it was flawed, yes. the balloons were too frequent, the eggs in the water were a nuisance even after being patched, and it ran for too long, but i liked having so many aspects of island life + AC in general being connected. i always had fun hunting for eggs in NL, and it was the same here, even if i did get it all done long before the two weeks were over. my only real complaint is that the furniture was ugly compared to NL's and i haven't once utilized any of it. not gonna lie, my enjoyment for this event specifically could be largely attributed to my enjoyment of the game as a whole since it happened right after release.

4. fireworks festival
mostly for the prizes, if i'm being honest. it's a shame i don't get any use out of them now though, since they made it so tripping is guaranteed only if you're holding a balloon. (unless it's been patched out?) whoever made that decision is the worst, frankly. just let me run with balloons. the novelty always wears off after the first week for me, since it's just the same each time, but it was initially fun nonetheless.

5. harvest festival
only reason it ranks higher than halloween/toy day is because the furniture is cuter and i'm actually getting some use out of it. i still preferred NL's version of this event, with the added ingredients (butter, vinegar, sugar etc.), and i really don't know what the point was in having us "make" every dish twice -- once for the main ingredients, once for the secret ingredient. i'm lowkey a fan of fetch quests, so that probably helped.

6. toy day
beats halloween largely because it was more similar to its NL-equivalent and didn't take as long. would've ranked third if it had a) let me keep the santa sack and b) included the villager clues during the rest of december.

7. halloween
downgrade from NL imo. felt way too simplified, and i didn't feel like i was earning any of the rewards. should've kept the "certain masks scare certain villagers more" mechanic in.

8. wedding season
i hated this event. loathed it, even. decorating is easily my least favorite aspect of this game, and it didn't help that this was repetitive as sin. literally just the same task day in, day out, and you had to participate at least several times if you wanted to get at least one of every item, including the decorative plate.

Here is mine too:

1. Halloween Event: I enjoyed it so much with my friends. We were going around dressed up as Jack, scaring the villagers to give us Candy it was a wonderful time. I like the content that it brought like the Spooky items and the Pumpkins which was so refreshing at the time.

2. May Day Event: I am someone who doesn't like mazes but with this event it made us go to an island that was a maze to our skills to the test. Then you find Rover and you get his briefcase. Kinda wished they kept this in general it would be so much fun with friends.

3. Turkey Day Event: I mean at first it was too easy because I was prepared ahead of time but when I replayed it as a different user it felt like a good challenge, Finding all of those items for the recipes to make dishes and when you are done you get all of the diys in one day which I thought was really nice and saved a lot of time. So yeah it was a pretty good event.

4. Earth Day Event: This was a good one since Leif made a return and we were able to make hedge fencing and plant bushes all over our island. Its really nice and I spent so many hours decorating my island with lots of bushes. I wish Leif had his own shop but still it was a really good event.

5. Stamp Rally: Yeah this one was forgettable. All you did was just go around the museum and collect stamps to get different items and if you wanted to do it again you can but the rewards stayed the same. So yeah it was okay but nothing really special.

6. Fireworks Festival: I spent more time grinding those balloons in that event so thats why I had more time to do this event. It was cool to see the fireworks but after that it got boring after awhile. So its another okay event but again didn't really had much to offer.

7. Wedding Season: This one really disappointed me. Reese and Cyrus made a return on Harvs island and all you were doing is just taking Anniversary photos of their wedding. I was doing it daily but then stopped after like a week because it kept on repeating. The Wedding furniture is good for what it is but honestly it just got more redundant throughout June.

8. Toy Day: This one is going to get controversial but I honestly did not like this event. I mean it just felt so lackluster. All you get was 2 DIYS and the same toys you already had from your shop and while trading with other people. The Jingle furniture didn't make a return so it just felt more underwhelming. Was really hoping there would be more to this event but sadly it just fell short.

9. Bunny Day; I REALLY HATE THIS EVENT! Like the idea they made it a 12 day event was probably the worst idea I've ever seen. It conflicted with the Cherry Blossom event and the Fishing Journey because there was so many Bunny Day eggs all over your island. They were in the ocean, rocks, ground, balloons, and trees. It made it hard to get materials to craft stuff. By the time I got to the event it was just nothing but "Lets Look for eggs" Oh man I really hate Zipper T Bunny making me talk to him so many times to get more diys when I got was a stupid Toy version of himself and then a Bunny Day Wand after all that. So this event really made me lose my insanity. This is one event I will NEVER play again and I will stay far from it in 2021.

1. Halloween
2. New Years Eve
3. Fireworks Festival
4. Toy Day
5. Wedding Season
6. Nature Day
7. May Day
8. Stamp Rally
9. Turkey Day
10. Bunny Day

I think the theme of this is I can't make decisions and have no serious faults with anything (except bunny day) but here's my ranking!

1. fireworks festival. mostly because this was around my peak time of playing AC, and I think almost every week I would meet up with friends and we'd hang out for hours taking pics and just enjoying the fireworks! so it gets top in my heart for memories
2. new year's - super cute to see all the villagers hanging out, and even Nook and Isabelle got out of the town hall for it! 10/10 vibess
3. toy day. controversial - I like toy day. it's fun going around and giving your villagers presents, even if they're not as personalised as in previous years. also some cute DIYs to come out of the season (not that i've managed to hunt them all down yet)
4. turkey day. I prepared the day before so on the day itself I didn't really have to try too hard, but the time I did spend doing it was fun! and we got some really nice items out of it
5. halloween. trick or treating was fun, nice items, but it doesn't hold up the same as in previous years when you had to try and specifically scare your villagers
6. May Day - don't get me wrong I enjoyed it (love Rover, fun maze) but it's just not equal in my mind to some of the other events
7. wedding season - fun for a few days but I ultimately ended up giving up on it. it was nice to see Reese and Cyrus again, and I liked the items, but I don't think it needed to last a whole month
8. earth day. I liked what came out of it but arguably I wouldn't count it as an 'event' since I don't remember anything major happening other than Leif, hence the low rating
9. stamp rally. sure kinda fun way to spend a few minutes but if that was never added I wouldn't feel upset in any way
10. Bunny day. last place for the sheer hell that was egg overload! the idea of the event was fairly cute though

At least for me here comes my voting (1-10 been 1 the best and 10 de worst):

1) New year: For once NY event is somewhat what i expected as it was short but I can not exactly explain what it was but between the music, the sweet interactions of the villagers, the count down and the locking camera etc. For some reason i guess it was very similar to RL its like nothing is happening but also a lot is happening sort of, for me it just had tons of charm.

2) Halloween: I thought halloween was a great event which came with a great update at least for me. In terms of the latter i was extremely happy that Nintendo once again listen to us and finally introduced a new gameplay dynamic to be honest, i loved that we got vegetables to harvest! I am still hoping for more variety tho. Regarding Halloween i really like the re-vamp of the halloween set, super appreciated that many of that furniture set could be usable all year long with the exception of winter of course, but i really like the versatility of the furniture!. The event was very interactive with the villagers too so it was a very cute event to participate which lasted for a very decent amount of time.

3) Thanksgiving: Although I will admit I did expect so much more for this event and like many I was sad they cut of some rewards of furniture from previous games, I really enjoyed the vibe of this event: I was lovely to gather materials, having the table set with all together with special dialogues. It was yet again like the previous mentioned event very charming. Although as previously mentioned i ddi expect more such as: more vegetables to harvest, a cooking mini game animation as a su-chef, been able to actually eat, been able to create recipes and the ability to invent some by mixing different cooking materials and having our kitchens been usable and our fridge be able to store food items instead of our clothes. Now that i have mentioned what i would have also liked to see, I can also admit that I loved the scene cute down, thought it was truly cute.

4) Earth day: I will only say Leif, bushes and bush like fence. But apart from the things we got there is not much to talk about heheh.

5) Firework festival: I guess its a bit similar than the NY but with a let say slightly different vibe, still enjoyed it a lot and loved having fireworks, fire sticks and balloons, i like saying and thinking that its the small details that matter. Plus the island looked stunning under the firework colors. Although i would not had mind a bit more event things happening but its alright.

6) Wedding season: It was very fun although i tinny bit repetitive if you ask me, but also really liked the furniture/clothing additions that came with it

7) Toy day: My heart broke here! I had expected so so so tremendously much and got so disappointed, at least the music was good at least there is something. Truly though it was too simplified and heart-less, I also feel like we did not get that many furniture all in all to be honest so yeah thats a bummer too. I hope they change it a bit for next year, for me this was the biggest disappointment thus far ! I dont even understand why they time blocked it if i am honest with you all.m

8) Stamp holiday/museum day: There is no much saying tbh hahah you just run through the museum and get stamps and for that you get wall hanging thingies that tell you did that as a reward. I wished they would not dwell on such small nothing-happening-events so to say and focus on the big ones to make them truly impressive and unique experiences.

9) Bunny day: I know everyone hates it but what bothers me more than the over appearances of eggs was how ugly the furniture set was and how many types of dresses and shoes and hats there was jeez it was just meh. I only like the bouncy Zipper, the wand and the backpack.

10) May Day Event: haven't celebrated this event yet.

From Worst to Best:
10) Museum Day - It wasn't much I feel, just running through the museum

9) Earth day - For the same reason for museum day, It was just some nook mile tasks, shrubs and leif were also in the update but i base this on the event

8) Bunny day - too long, too much eggs getting in the way, and didnt like the furniture set

7) Toy Day - I feel like it was too short and didnt really enjoy it. I didn't like that the villagers would only gift you toys.

6) New years - It was nice. I liked when the villagers counted down from 10 it was cute. I put it at 6 because there was not really any activities either than the countdown

5) Halloween - I felt like it was simple

4) Fireworks Festival - I liked being able to use a design as fireworks and the items

3) Wedding season - It was kind of fun decorating around themes!

2) Turkey Day - I liked being able to cook up recipes with fish and pumpkins, the animation when villagers gather around the table to eat, and doing tasks for villagers at home!

1) May Day - I really enjoyed this event even though it was one day. I thought it was interesting how they made a maze island and like how it used elements of the game (hitting rocks with shovel, hopping across river, chopping trees, etc). I had fun and seeing rover at the end was cool. Wished there was more of it.

hmm i would have to say the best for me was the new years countdown, it was sweet and simple, did what it needed to do, and lots of nice orderables (i mean we got food!!!)
then from best to worst;
- halloween, i loved seeing all the cute costumes the villagers were in
- turkey day, again i thought it was cute and it didnt take me only 10 minutes
- fireworks, i enjoyed having a small celebration every week and i loved that you could make your own fireworks
-toy day, it was so short but i still liked celebrating with my villagers
- may day, because the maze was a cute idea and i still use rovers briefcase
- wedding season, earth day, and museum day are all together because i forgot they even existed, especially wedding season because i just kept forgetting to do it since it was on harveys island and not our own
- last is bunny day, because i hate it and almost every aspect that comes with it

So I know there is going to be a lot of disagreements but I would like to see what events you think were the best and some were the worst. I will start with mine that goes from the Best to the Worst:

1. Halloween
2. Turkey Day
3. May Day

6. Wedding Season
7. Fireworks Festival
8. Toy Day
9. Bunny Day

1. Halloween
2. Turkey Day
3. Wedding Season
4. Toy Day

Everything else was either way too short or way overstayed its welcome. Honestly, even Wedding Season overstayed its welcome too, but at least I had fun the first few days and the items are really good.

I don't really like the holidays in NH in general so far.

i haven't experienced all of the events because i kinda burned myself out in the early months of acnh, but here's what i got:

from worst to best!
1.
bunny day..... for obvious reasons. the overload of eggs, ugly furniture, overlapping with other events, and the length of the event just made it a nightmare.
2. museum day. there wasn't much to this event.
3. wedding season. i liked some the items, but the activity was repetitive. after 3 days it just felt like a grind
4. earth day. i loved the addition of bushes and hedges, and it was great to see leif again :] the tasks were just tasks, i don't have much to say about them but it was nice to earn some extra nook miles points(y)
5. may day. the maze was fun, it kinda reminded me a little bit of the island tours from new leaf. i loved seeing my boy rover again, and i also liked the little suitcase he gives you!

I did like the suitcase.
I miss all the items from Rover's RV in NL.

I find it crazy how much we seem to agree, from that "discount NL" thread, to here. I 100% agree with your ranking and rationale.

The May Day maze was actually really fun. At first, I was hoping that it was a sign of thing to come. It felt a bit like a Tortimer Island minigame in a way, and I loved that! Sadly, no more unique islands came.. Bunny Day also wasn't as bad as some people made it out to be. Yeah, the furniture is trash - but the egg collecting all over was kinda fun.
