hello. this account was made, stuff got in the way and it was rather swiftly abandoned, so i think it's about time i gave it a proper revival.
my name's damien. i'm an old fart and i love animal crossing. i've recently begun playing new horizons and it's a strong contestant for my favourite instalment in the franchise.
i'm not entirely sure what my goal of being here is, but i do rather like the turnip sales market. i didn't even know you could resell above five hundred bells!

i would appreciate a little guidance on this forum's shop function. it looks like an interesting feature and i haven't a clue how to work it, custom title colour aside.

Welcome back to TBT!

New Horizons is a fun game. I'm looking to get back into it soon to play more of the DLC and redesign the southwestern portion of my island.

As far as the shop goes, you just click "shop" in the top right and "shop" again under it. Inside the shop itself, there'll be plenty of goodies including collectibles you can purchase (that go under your sidebar like in mine), as well as add-ons such as the custom user title color.

Most of the more uncommon or rare collectibles won't be released there and can instead be obtained in events that the forum staff hosts periodically. The forum just actually got finished with a Valentine's Day event that had participants submit Animal Crossing art that's related to Valentine's Day.

The shop DOES have periodic restocks of some of the fruits and other collectibles, but that's usually announced ahead of time by the staff and doesn't happen too often.

none that are currently living on my island, unfortunately. i quite like olivia, dobie and marshal, to name a few. perhaps they'll end up moving in sometime in the near future.

i've been playing them since wild world, although i never progressed massively far in that instalment. wild world, skipped city folk unintentionally, moved onto new leaf and ultimately new horizons. i haven't picked up any downloadable content, only the base game. i might in the future since it seems like a worthwhile investment.

Hey there, and welcome back to the forum! Aside from this being an Animal Crossing forum, there is actually lots to do here. The staff hold frequent smaller events, and to my knowledge they hold one big one in the summer. They just got finished with a Valentine’s Day event like a user above me posted.

We also have Brewster’s Cafe for off-topic discussion and The Basement, which has many text-based games. It’s not just a forum strictly for Animal Crossing. I hope to see you around.
