Pokémon RIP Pokemon Go

You're taking this hard, like you personally work for Niantic. Kind of hard for me to see you having fun playing if you're so angry and worried about how other people think and play.

Even Google apologized, and gave refunds. Niantic is refusing to listen to complaints. Instead, they made an update to wipe out heir one star reviews, and removed their contact email.

lmao, plz go to reddit if you think I'm being harsh. HAHAHA.

*** EDIT - Or if you think I'm "taking this hard" :lemon:

Wow! Niantic is very corrupt. This may result in a class action lawsuit against them.

I quit because I only got to level 7 (no pokemon in my area) and it drained 3/4 of my 12GB of data in less than a month. Worthless.

The game even has 1 1/2 stars in the Japanese App store. They got the game late when the 3 step bug was already a bug. And instead of fixing the issue since shockingly the beta version of the game was better. They're more focused on releasing it world wide instead of fixing the issue. Which cropped up when the game came out in EU. And instead of communicating about it, there has nothing but silence. Businesses can't thrive on ignoring their customer base.

At least Nintendo does have communication with the fans. I sent an e-mail to them asking about if Pokemon Stadium or Pokemon Snap will be released on the Virtual Console, and they said that they'll have my comments heard across all of NoA to consider adding them on the Wii U eShop for North America.

Nintendo do seem to be very quick to respond to fan email. I've heard a lot of people asking about full remakes for those two games on the Wii U. http://www.nintendolife.com/news/20...us_for_wii_u_virtual_console_release_in_japan

Exactly. If you can't accept criticism, then don't make any games at all. People need the tracking system, and removing it ruins the app. And instead of actually fixing it or allowing tracking apps, they turn off e-mails and remove low ratings because of their update. This is a legitamite reason to give bad ratings.

I would not buy anything from a corrupt company like Niantic.

I think we should do this. Have many American players send Nintendo a lot of e-mails asking for Pokemon Stadium 1 to appear on the Virtual Console and a potential N64 Mini (which is like an NES Classic Edition).

I wish the fanbase was large in the UK. Well, come to think of it, it is pretty big, but alot of people who like Pokemon at the moment are just Pokemon Go players who haven't given the series a second thought prior to Go's release, which kinda sucks. I know there are alot of main series UK Pokemon fans, and to you I say hello! :)

The thing is, Nintendo has no part in Pokemon Go, aside from owning a few stocks... I don't think they can do anything. And go figure, going to the support page via The Pokemon Company and Pokemon Go leads to Niantic Labs 'support' page.

The reason why people are made about 3rd party sites being shut down is simple.

The game is broken and we all relied on them to actually find pokemon on our nearby list. Now that they're shut down. There's no way we can track anything down. Ruining the game as a whole.

Oh, wow, yes. Great defense. Now I see you are truly just a mature and concerned player that loves the lemon emoji.

Called it. This game was doomed from the very beginning.
I could feel it. It was released before it was ready. Nintendo didn't want it to compete with Sun and Moon, and Niantic was already late on releasing it. They didn't have a game fully developed.

Well that's just typical. I buy a whole new phone and finally get this app and now this happens. If the company really wanted to stop cheating they should have found a way to counter that jailbreak tweak that lets people walk wherever they want on the map without moving. This is a really stupid move on their part and I hope they correct it if they want people to keep playing.

Hopefully Niantic fixes this sinking ship real soon so we can get back on board. I've been out of PokeBalls for the past few days and I've kind of just been hanging in no rush to get em because of this mess.

it's pretty lame that they didn't try to fix their problems before cutting everything off entirely , the game was perfect the way it was . i'm not going to stop playing but they need to get on the ball

They added back the footstep feature when I was playing earlier. My money is on them posting it back because of all the refunds they had to give out for removing it in the first place. They made no changes to it or anything.

Every time I go outside, I see hoards of people playing it, I don't think it's died down quite yet.
