[Roleplay] Ace City

Fine."Well, if you dont have anything else to say, I'll just be heading off." Just fan TASTIC!

The bus turns up earlier than expected so I hop on and pick a seat near the front. I read my book on the way there, only 10 minutes to go.

(Nothing much, FN)
"Um... ok... bye." Who was this girl? I hope she isnt in the same class as me.

I wasn't sure what happened. I fell asleep on the bus, then...I don't know. I never saw this coming.

As I walked into Math, aka my doom, I sat down next to-GUESS WHO? Miss Smart-Aleck Clarissa. Great. I'm already crappy on the overworld, now i have to sit next to her? This class will be boring as heck.
"Open your textbooks to page one." No, lets all turn to page 68,000,000! But I said these thoughts inside my head, so no one could hear them but me.
"Now for your first lesson, the perimeter of a square... can any of you rememebr this... blah blah blah blah blah." Of course Clarissa would be enjoying herself. Typical. I knew this was going to be a long day.

Ah, finally here. I got up and ran in through the front doors. "What happened to you?!" I hear a boy shout to me from a seat. I give him a quick "Fell over." and walk to the front desk. "Hi, it's my first day here and I'm so sorry I'm late. I got a bad graze earlier so I had to go home and take care of it. I need my schedule as I haven't been given it yet." The woman looks me up and down with a stern look on her face and then proceeds to click at her computer. "Name?" "Aela Farnsworth." The printer starts to groan and then out comes my schedule. She hands it me "There you go." "Thank you." I quickly read over it. Looks like I have Art now? Great, my favourite subject.

After the ever-so-long and boring Math class, we were all summoned into the audiotorim. I kinda felt... you know...small? I was probably the shortest in the school, at only 5" even. I was literally surronded by brawny werewolves and taller-than-usual vampires. What do they give you? I had an acquaintance on the surface who was a werewolf, I suppose that all werewolves are tall like him? Anyway, i heard a voice.
"Welcome to Ishyama. You guys all know why you are here. You guys are the worst. Picking fights, all that good stuff. Well, you certainly wouldn't do it here. You can count on that." The principal was a firebender, well, that can't amount to good, can it? I was kind of scared.

I've just got out of Art class, which went better than expected. I head on over to the canteen to get a cookie. I haven't had lunch since I fell asleep and had to go straight to class. Then I made my way to my next lesson. History, not looking as forward to that.

After 3 measly hours, my course is finally over. I happily sigh as I bite into my apple. Sitting on one of the metal benches, I glace at everyone passing by. The classes weren't that hard, were they? My brow scrunch up in confusion as I bit the last bit of apple flesh off of its core.

The teachers are talking about the rules of the school, and it's just as boring as school in the regular world. I roll my eyes. Like any of us are actually going to follow the rules. Ani, the girl I met earlier, is standing near me, and I look over at her. She seems a little scared of the firebender who is leading the assembly, and I can sympathize a little. I send her the thought, You're not alone.

All of a sudden I hear a voice in my head.
You're not alone...
I'm like, WHAT THE FUDGE? I noticed Clarissa standing near me, she might be doing this? Ugh.

In my mind, I snicker a little to Ani's response. It's pretty fun to mess around with my powers. The people here think waaaay more interesting thoughts than the people back where I used to live. When I first got here, I wasn't sure whether I liked it or not, but Ishiyama is sort of my reward for running away. In a way, this is kind of a game.

I heard a quiet chuckle. Exactly. It was Clarissa. Who else? That girl makes me so mad. EH. I guess she is younger than me, after all. I can't cut her any slack for that though. I had a plan.

Plan? What plan? I wonder. I don't send that thought to Ani. I don't want her to know about my mind reading, but I guess I'll just have to see where the tide flows and flow along with it. Ugh, when did I get so poetic? Whatever. In any case, I'll try to be prepared for anything Ani throws at me.
