"Hey, Sai..." I say quietly. "Sage and I were thinking about the memorial a bit last night... Is Blaze going?"

 

[Naiad]

I glance over at Blaze. "... Is there a problem..?"

 

[toxapex]

"Well, it's Blaze. There were multiple occasions on which he either tried to kill me and Sage or stated that he wants to kill us. And I don't feel like it would be very respectful to have a battle to the death at a memorial..."

 

[Naiad]

"It's been five years, Helix. All of us have changed, Blaze included."

 

[toxapex]

I sigh. "...Fine. But if anything happens... Just keep an eye on Blaze, okay?"

I finish making the waffles and grab two plates to put them on. Smells delicious... I smile. Things have been awfully nice here living on our own. I hope everyone else had just a peaceful time as we did.

"... Just Helix calling." I smile weakly.

"Oh, great. What'd the idiot want?"

"... Nothing that you don't already know."

"Why don't we wake the kids up?" I say, trying to change the topic.

"Sai, stop. Don't change the subject on me. If this is going to cause too much trouble, I can just stay home."
