Satoshi ran beside him, full of hope. He knew that Max could do SOMETHING other than argue, but there was strength in numbers. Quantity beats quality in survival.
She followed Max, trying to keep up. She kept almost tripping on tons of debris. However, she kept at it. She could hear David chattering to her and she rolled her eyes, starting to loath him.
Kaida was able to grab the key with her toes, but the chains cut into her ankles and left cuts. She pulled the key towards herself until picking it up, unlocking her feet chains.
Max stopped in his tracks, trying to rely on another scent that wasn't smoke.
Kaida wrapped a blanket around herself, it was the only thing she was wearing. Kaida saw her bag in the corner, her clothes were inside, along with her gun. Kaida put her bag around herself and grabbed the gun. Kaida began to run out of the room, and then up the stairs. She tossed the rubble out of the way. Kaida got two nails stuck in her foot, slowing her down.
Takumi was fiddling around in another room, totally unaware of what was happening.
She waited for Max to start walking again. She was starting to get tired, and wanted to just find that girl. She'd had enough and was starting to have small flashbacks.
Kaida spotted Satoshi and Chika, Kaida ran into Satoshi's arms, bawling her eyes out. Kaida had bruises all over her body, and one on her face. Kaida hugged Satoshi tightly. Blood was running down her body from the cuts she had gotten.
Satoshi was taken surprise by the hug, but hugged her back. He realized how badly she was injured; pretty damn badly. "The hell happened to you?" He asked, "How did you.."
She felt extremely awkward. Not understanding what just happened, she started to slowly back away, nearly stepping on different objects that would make noise.
"You're obviously too injured to walk." He said, picking her up bridal-style. "Let's go back to that complex we were at before." He headed towards it. He noticed the nails in her feet. Ouch!
She watched them a little bit. What happened to her? She wasn't gone for too long at all. She felt sick to her stomach, seeing what bad shape she was in.
(A bit happened while I saw asleep I see)
Maki woke up, in a daze, thinking about the war. She stood up, walking around the remains of this so called "city".
"Ah, my father's shop...he's with the lord now.." Maki said, retrieving her many memories.
