I loudly hack into my arm and then answer after clearing my throat.

"Yes, hearing aid. Very fragile, I'll have you know. How about you? Doing anything with your life yet besides one night standing men?"


I listen to them talk while I keep my grip on their arms.

"... I take night classes at the local university. I usually work in the mornings to afternoons at the market just down the street."

"Ooo, cool! Anything else you want to do? Any goals?"

 

[Naiad]

"... Get myself a boyfriend, I guess..?" I shrug. "I haven't really thought far ahead."

I whimper a bit and stop talking.

I jolt awake as I hear a loud knock on my door. Oops, I fell asleep at my desk... I think, getting up after a moment and walking the door. I open it and come face to face with a tall, burly looking man in uniform. Without stopping to explain, he grabs me by the arm and roughly drags me out of the house. What's going on? Adjusting my mask, I decide to go visit the coffee shop near the south wall. Holding the scepter I crafted, I start heading south.

Knowing that I wouldn't be able to over power the guard, I don't resist, and he brings me all of the way to the south wall. There's another three men there, one dressed in the same getup as the person holding me. Another I recognise from one of he classes I teach at the university. "Cepheus?"
