Hello, this glitch happened to me twice already today ! I'm wondering whether it has happened to any of you.
While my brother visiting my island through local play, he had picked two of my flowers but then a few seconds later our connection was interrupted and he was sent back to his island. He lost the flowers from his inventory and the flowers were returned back to my island. While this may make sense because the connection was interrupted, the second time makes 0 sense to me.
While I was visiting my brother's island, I talked to CJ to receive whatever gifts he gave in exchange for the fish points. I received 3 items, then while my brother was talking to CJ, I decided to press the minus button to return to my island. Since my brother was still in conversation with CJ while I attempted to go home, it told him to close the convo menu, but since CJ rambles it took a while... so much so that a timer popped up on the top left of the screen of how much time was left until it just cut it short. While my brother received an item during this conversation as well, it lead to the conversation getting cut short and me being sent back to my island. When I got back to my island, none of the items I received from CJ were in my inventory and the item my brother received from him isn't in his either. What is causing the rollback to occur to the point of items just being lost completely? I was excited cause I got the fish wand and now it just vanished into nothingness lol.. any help is appreciated
TLDR: When coming back from visiting an island, items I got from the island are not in my inventory when I arrived back
EDIT: The first time it happened was local play, second time was online play
I just went back to his island and I had my points back but didn't get the same rewards :/ but the fact that it just rolled back is weird to me and I don't want it to happen again
