Of the two greatest park simulation games from the 2000’s, which game series was better? The games where you can build amusement parks and rides (and crash rides on purpose), or the games where you can build zoos (and let animals escape)?

That's a tough one! I played both religiously as a kid and have fond memories of each. I think Zoo Tycoon edges out ahead slightly ahead. I love animals, even though the Okapi haunts my dreams to this day with my inability to keep it happy. Ungrateful creature!

I've only played rollercoaster tycoon, but it's an all time great game. Is zoo tycoon equally as good? Maybe I'll need to give it a try

Zoo Tycoon no contest. I played Rollercoaster Tycoon but it's too complicated for me, plus it's pretty boring compared to Zoo Tycoon. Being able to build Zoo exhibits to however you want is a win for me, plus it's more easier to understand too. I can never get bored of that game, but Rollercoaster Tycoon can get boring really quickly. I don't recall ever finishing a theme park, yet I did finish a Zoo several times.
