"Aren't people doing anything about this?"

She fumbled about with the stem of her apple, feeling quite differently about this place. Her stomach tensed slightly.

"There's a lot of tension lately.. I honestly think a rebellion is going to happen."

"A rebellion..." she echoed. "What's your take on all of this, er... I think I didn't catch your name."

 

[Sanaki]

"Damien." He finished her sentence and held out his hand in a friendly manner.

She wiped her hand on her lap quickly, then shook his hand. "Nice to meet you."
"I'm not exactly ecstatic about getting caught up in all of this business." I muttered. "I think I should just keep myself to the countryside, maybe. It's not like I have much friends or family around here."

"It would be best for you to stay away unless you want to feel her wrath." Damien sighed.

"What are you going to do about all of this, Damien?"

"I feel like I need to help them." Damien said quietly.
"Even if it means risking my life."

"Wow..." she breathed, tracing her fingers over her palm. "That's very brave of you."

 

[Sanaki]

"I don't really know anyone yet either.. so that's a problem. But yeah, my father raised me to be brave. Are you hungry or anything? We don't have much around here, but we could find something."

As it did, when Silver's eyes went black, the odd symbols eyes went black too. If you listened, you could hear another voice giggling quietly to himself.
