Shiki was playing around while sitting by the fire, making the grass grow taller, then shorter.

I jump down. I see her playing with the grass.

"Make sure none of the grass sets on fire." I say.

Shiki smiled sweetly. "Don't worry!"

She made some daisies pop up from the grass, and giggled.

I pluck the daisies and make them into a bouquet, and hand them to Shiki. (WhatamIdoingXD)

Shiki's eyes lit up and her face brightened with happiness.
She took the bouquet from his hand, and grabbed it tightly with her own hands.
"It's beautiful, Ace-kun! Thank you!" She exclaimed.

"Uh...i'm not the best.."

Shiki giggled, and hugged him tightly before letting go.

Again. I keep getting hugged. Well then...

"Okay..."

Shiki held her bouquet happily and continued her grass-growing game.

A small bit of grass caught fire. I pulled it out and fed the flames in the campfire.

"Well then.."

"Oopsies. I messed up!" Shiki blinked.

I smile at her. "You did."

"It won't happen again, I swear!"
Just then, another blade of grass caught fire.

I pluck it out and throw it into the fire.

"Isn't as funny as it was."

 

[Chrome Dokuro]

"Hehe... yeah." She laughed nervously.

My robe starts to swish around in the wind and I fly up to see for any person who is nearby who is a potential threat. "All clear!" I say, and fly back down, not closing my wings.
