Nene stared at them. Is the fight over outside..? she wondered, beginning to wonder what the human army would do after all of this.

The flames on her tail burned hotter. She would be surprised if they actually walked in without backup.

Kaeto sat inside the chamber, wondering what they would do with them. He was still finding it hard to believe he actually was here with Ahri again.

Naomi pulls out a scroll from her bag. Aloud she read in a hushed tone, "Temporarily Dispel Magic." Then she said, "This should do the trick."

 

[Chrome Dokuro]

Temporarily Dispel Magic..? Kaeto repeated in his head. That doesn't sound good..

 

[Sanaki]

"They can't put out a fire with something like that though. I have nine tails that are on fire." Ahri whispered to him.

Naomi read the scroll aloud, looking directly at Ahri as she read it. As she finished, her eyes began to glow a light yellow. At the same time, Ahri's eyes glowed. Only for a moment. This meant the dispel was successful.

Ahri will have her magical powers temporarily drained...

Kaeto looked at her. "Ah, alright." the fallen angel spoke, his bad feeling going away.
Is the oxygen going to get tight in here? he thought, suddenly wondering how long they had, if it would.

There was nothing she could do about her powers disappearing so she just looked up to Kaeto and wrapped her arms around him.

"Nene, are you ready?"

"...Yeah." Nene said, slightly hesitating before saying it. Pull yourself together, Nene! she scolded herself. Riven would have wanted her to stay strong, right?

Naomi opened the door, attempting to knock out Kaeto with a quick kick in the jaw.

Ahri quickly dashed and attempted to tackle Naomi, her tails burning.

Naomi was surprised, but had no problem taking the weak attack from Ahri. She then retaliated (attempt) with a punch to the face.

"Don't. ****ing. kick him." Ahri said, her nose bleeding from the punch. She punched her back.

Kaeto blinked in surprise, feeling weak to move but trying to anyways.
Did Ahri just protect me..? he thought, summoning his scythe.
