It had finished cooking. Nene sprinkled seasonings on it, and got ready any sides or sauces to have with it.
"Done! Now they just need to come back." She sighed.

This time, the force of Riven's sword was enough to send the phoenix flying back and hitting a tree, then combined with Aki's attack, it yelped in pain.

I'm screwed, the phoenix is done for in another hit. I have to get out now! Kaeto thought.
"Don't think you've won quite yet, human." Kaeto scowled, dragging himself to his feet pulling his scythe in front of him in a defensive position.
His scythe glowed black, and a black protective glow surrounded the fallen angel's body.

Riven struggled to stand up, there was a cut under her eye. She glared and held her sword up. "You either."

"I'll protect you fro any more blows. You just focus on attacking!" I say to Riven.

Riven sighed, that was cowardly if she had someone else step in. "I said it's between me and him. I'm not a coward."

"No. Your hurt. I will drive you home and get you fixed up, but right now focus on attacking. I am your shield." I say, bravely.

The phoenix screeched and entered a dark portal, assumable that it was returning to a monster world.

And... now, while they're talking.. With a final smirk, The glow around Kaeto became more vivid and enveloped him entirely.
He suddenly shot into the air and soared away, further into the forest.
"We'll continue this a different day.."

I pursue him, but I can't fly.

"hey.. they better come back soon, before the steak gets cold!"

I run back, following my own footsteps, but they disappear after a while, so I walk forward again.

"I'm sure they will, if they don't, I'm going to punch someone." Nene scowled.

I arrive where Riven is, and I grab her hands and sit her into the passenger seat. I shut her door, get into the drivers and speed don to the others.

I jokingly surrendered "Please dont hit mee.." i say sarcastically and start laughing

When we arrive at the place, I walk out, and shut my door.

That, made Nene smile.
She jokingly punched him lightly in the arm.
