• Guest, you're invited to help build our new TBT time capsule! It contains three parts, with some of its elements planned to open in 2029 and others not until the distant future of 2034. Get started in 2024 Community Time Capsule: Blueprints.

Scavenging Race (Crews 3 & 4)

Yeah unfortunately we don’t stand a chance yet again. Try not to let it get to you fellow Moon Bunnies you have all still been a blast to work with regardless. Regardless of your inconvenient time zones and/or your availability to be active I wouldn’t want to change any of you. 🤍🌙🐰

Good work to the ISC! You guys are become speed ⚡

And to my fellow Moon Bunnies, I know it's easy to get discouraged, but let's all just keep doing our best and have fun together. 🤍 Everyone on the entire team receives participation points regardless of if they had time to submit a photo or not, and I don't hold anyone's time zone or availability against them.

Not to be whiny (and yes, I understand that my team won) but I think it's a little ridiculous that both teams can't win. Due to activity, timezones, etc. more likely than not one team will win all 3 rounds. That means one team will have a 300 point bonus while the other team gets absolutely nothing... for a single event. That's a huge difference and is more than enough to take an opposing team out of the running for the crown.

I think it would have been a much better to have it designed more like the ufo event ngl, where there were mini missions for each team that they could complete separately and still actually earn points. It would also allow everyone a chance to participate because while I do understand that I'm very fortunate in terms of tbt timezones, there's a lot of people who didn't get a chance to look at the thing bc isc took like an hour. I enjoy the scavenger hunts we've done as individuals but I was a bit sad that the round was already over before I even opened the thread.

Anyways, great job isc and I applaud moon bunnies for their effort as well!! Keep it up team :3

For any members of the event wondering why Moon Bunnies did not include all 15 items
Pandapples has clearly stated that the teams should aim for a minimum of 12 from the list.
As you all have probably noticed, we included 12.
For sure, if ISC had not included 15 correct items, we would have included more.
So if anyone has any comments about MB not using our time wisely,
please remind yourself MB is doing their best while not revolving around Camp 2023

It feels a bit bad designed that we are 3 times against the same team. I don't really mind that we have to compete again another team if it's designed like the first area (UFO and also luck based). The dusting was demotivating but we were able to keep our spirits up and the collectibles are beautiful! The event itself was fun.

The problem is that we have now again the same situation. There are 3 rounds we will lose and they give a lot of points as well. So there is now no way we can even win the camp itself. It's a bit demotivating at first.

Nothing against the other team ofc! You are all doing your best! 🤍💜 The events itself are fun and I am thankfull to all the stuff that put a lot of effort into the event! We can still get a lot of collectibles and had fun as a team!

tbf slightly different, but that was basically the issue with the wishing well event too. though this one I feel is marginally better, due to starting at different times in at least an attempt to make things a tad easier for some

agreed

perhaps an idea for a future iteration is all users must submit at least one item for participation, and each item submitted counts as a point for the round for that team. with perhaps bonus points for a person submitting all items etc.

We can't always have every single one of the items ready in reccord time, and we are not knocking you guys for being faster.

So don't think were attacking you, or think were annoyed specifically at you because we are not. We are also not putting on a pity party, these are simply the facts.

We simply have a bit of a disadvantage here, due to various reasons that have been clarified here.

Is this event un-fair to other people who are sleeping? Well yes, and no. Concidering all our hard working bunnies still get curency for helping in other events its pretty fair. However, it is unfair, to not necessarily beat you guys, but for our other members not being able to participate. As Emolga, has summed up.

Its fair game either way, so please do not knock us for not being able to do things like you.

Good job on winning this round, but we still give it our all, and we certainly will next round as well!

for what it's worth my meme is completely unserious and just noting how ridiculous motorized shopping cart is
that was certainly clearly intended to be an item that would be a more 'difficult' slower submission find

though intent and actuality are different beings, clearly

I think this is such a cool event idea! I’ve always enjoyed the scavenger hunt events, so I think it’s really cool to see it in a team format. 😊

I do wish that the first window opened maybe a day into the event so we were aware of when to be online for, however I’m proud of everyone on my team for stepping up and finding stuff on short notice! 🤍
Tbh until this event I didn’t really know motorised shopping carts were a thing because I don’t really see them much lol

Congratulations to the ISC for the first round 🤍💜

Great job to both teams, this was a 48 hour event and we both got in before the 3 hour mark had even passed. I’m loving both the sportsmanship and the constructive feedback so please don’t take this as me telling anyone to stop (or change what they are) commenting, but remember that the mods have said:
As always, please hold onto your feedback until the end of the event. Only comments submitted via the official event feedback form will be reviewed in spring/summer 2025 ahead of the next Camp TBT event. Anything posted in threads will be missed. Thank you.

I think there have been some great points about this event, and the camps 1v1 structure, plus insightful suggestions on how to improve it to be more enjoyable for everyone, but please remember that we’re basically just talking amongst ourselves as far as any of this actually being taken into consideration for future events (it’s possible that our comments will be seen and noted but not a guarantee here).

Also would like to note that we had a lot of members commenting in our crew quarters when they had woken up in their time zone that they had also missed the whole event, and that you guys kicked our butts on the card draw team event! But mostly I hope that everyone can find some fun in this last week of camp :giggle:

fwiw both teams went lightning quick despite the time zone difference. even in my neck of the woods which i think is the same time zone as camp, it was late at night so i wasn't able to do much of anything. i think both sides did incredible getting posts up in such a short time. moon bunnies still gave us a good run for our money, the thrill of getting everything in quickly was really fun.
