For me: Spring = Autumn > Winter >>>>> Summer
I absolutely HATE summer IRL but its great in game because all the bugs and fish. AC winter is so much better than RL winter because of the snow. I love winter only when there's snow, otherwise its dreadful. Still I prefer it more than summer.
I am not a big fan of Summer and Spring IRL since I live in Phoenix and we get temps up to 120 F here, but I loved how dreamy summer nights looked in game! The fireflies were a nice touch. My favorite seasons IRL are definitely Fall and Winter.
Spring and Summer in Animal Crossing are great because of having so much to do. Namely with all of the bugs coming back. However, I despise Spring and Summer with every fiber of my being IRL. Bugs are actually one of those reasons. Lol. They're good in game, but hard to deal with IRL.
It’s funny: I think my opinion on the season IRL matches up with how much I like the season! IRL it’s this: Fall>Summer=Winter>Spring while in AC it’s like this: Fall>>>Winter>Summer>>>Spring
I wouldn't say that I strictly dislike any season in real life (or AC for that matter), but in general AC seasons are more distinct and separate than they are in real life which I love about them!
Summer used to be my favorite months in Animal Crossing, probably because I started my first game in the summer, I had a lot of free time and there are so many rare things to catch especially at nighttime. In WW/NL I would spend so much time scouring the palm trees for beetles. Now irl, summer is my least favorite season, the days are too long and it gets insufferably hot where I live. I'm someone who actually prefers more gloomy weather and cool breezes so now fall in my favorite season irl and in game. I like that there's several things to collect in fall, like mushrooms/acorns/pinecones amd the colors become more muted.

ahh.... idk. I dislike the cold in winter but i adore snow, especially since I live in the woods, and the snow is so gorgeous on the bare tree branches... I can't handle the cold tho.... but i'm looking forward to enjoying the snow in acnh without being freezing cold. LOL
Summer is easily my least favorite season irl with the heat, humidity, mosquitos, and crowds >_> but I like summer in animal crossing! Shark & beetle hunting in the summer used to be my main money source.
Autumn is my favorite season irl so I’m excited for what NH has to offer! I’m going into the seasons in NH without spoiling myself so I’m hoping it’ll be beautiful!
I hate winter and snow irl and in the game.It doesn’t snow too much where I am, it just rains a lot. We may get a day or two here and there of snow and that’s it. It does rain heavier during the winter which I’m not a fan of. I don’t mind the rain the other seasons because I can just wear my hoodie and be fine. In the game it’s too white, but I like the crunchy sound when I walk. Fall is my favorite season, but I don’t see much of it since moving to the west coast because I’m surrounded by evergreen trees. I don’t particularly enjoy spring irl because I get bad allergies, but it’s pretty in the game. I don’t like this time of year at all because for the last several years it’s been so dry that there are so many fires that the air gets smoky and gross my eyes burn and the air smells like smoke.
...Summer. I love all the rare bugs/fish in AC games but HATE HATE HATE the heat IRL. There are things I love about all other seasons IRL (even if spring and fall bring allergies, spring is still pretty and fall brings Halloween) but I just can't make myself love summer. The fact that everyone else seems to love it, and they all assume I do to (or else there's something clearly wrong with me) doesn't help at all

Summer is my least favourite season both in-game and irl, in AC it's too bright and cheery for my rain-loving, gloomy self. All the bugs crawling around can get annoying too.
Love autumn and spring though, autumn in Animal Crossing is particularly great! Winter I could take or leave.

I missed spring but I did get a glimpse of it at @JSS’s island and thought it was pretty; I love winter the most in the game. I visited a few people with winter islands and loved them; i can’t wait for winter even though I’m happy and excited about fall. In RL, I like winter because less bugs and fall because I like the leaves changing color (but I prefer to stay indoors; not an outdoorsy person at all).
In real life, I'm much more a fall/winter type of person. I love the cold, I love being inside to watch the changing leaves and the eventual snowfall. I've never been a big fan of the heat or the summer months.
In Animal Crossing though, I pretty much love all of the seasons, especially in this game since they all look so pretty. Summer, even though I'm glad to be moving into fall, was a blast for me. I loved the beachy vibes, the constant sunshine (As long as we ignore the month of June), and all the updates that went along with the season (Fireworks, swimming and diving, dream suite, etc.).
I guess I find Summer tolerable in game, since the rare beetles and sharks can be acquired. In real life, I rather dislike Summer outside of a few specific days because I don't like the heat.
