Seasons you like in Animal Crossing, dislike in real life

Summer! Not a huge fan of it in real life, and it's not my favorite season in Animal Crossing either -- however it makes it a bit more bearable! Catching all of the bugs and fish and planting blooming bushes is a lot of fun.
The seasons don't change drastically where I live, so to watch the leaves slowly get darker throughout Autumn in Animal Crossing is wonderful for me (it also gets a bit colder and rainier in real life which is nice!)

As a Floridian I love Animal Crossing summer - the deep tropical green trees/grass and the cicada calls are nostalgic to me - but in real life it's really not that exciting because of how samey the year-round weather is here. Only thing that changes is the temperature, everything stays mostly green except for the very few deciduous trees losing their foliage and maybe you'll see a little frost once or twice in like February or so.

I like how distinct all the seasons are in Animal Crossing, and it's my way of enjoying the fall colors and winter snow activities without having that to look forward to irl.

I feel this way about Spring! Spring in ACNH is so beautiful in my opinion, while in RL, I'm constantly sneezing because of the pollen! (Yay allergies, haha)

I don’t really have any seasons that I dislike - they all have their ups and downs.

I’ve never experienced winter, very little spring, and this is first day of fall in Animal Crossing. I did however visit a Southern Hemisphere island in June so I got to see what winter was like.

I can’t say I have a favorite season in either the real world or Animal Crossing.

my absolute favourite season in animal crossing is winter; i love how the snow looks and how bushes look and the crunching underneath my feet. it’s also when toy day occurs, which is my absolute favourite ac holiday with christmas being my favourite irl c’:

that being said, i really hate winter irl; i love the colder weather but god, i really hate snow and slush. i have pretty bad balance + a fear of falling or slipping so despite having good snow boots with traction, i spend the entirety of winter feeling incredibly anxious whenever i have to go outside as i’m always terrified of slipping - so my hatred for my winter is more of a psychological thing than anything else but it still sucks LMAO

Spring in Animal Crossing is really nice. The trees turn pink and I enjoy when it rains. Also it's always a pleasure to go from months of winter to idyllic green surroundings. Meanwhile where I live, spring is just a grosser version of winter. During the first phase of spring, snow mixes with dirt and melts into a disgusting slush, then freezes overnight into an icy death trap. During the second phase the snow is gone but nothing has grown yet, so it looks like the aftermath of some plant destroying apocalypse.

I don't really like summer in real life because I don't do well in the heat. But there's something about summer in Animal Crossing that makes me feel so cheerful! The lovely greens in the trees and the grass, the types of bugs and sounds of cicadas. Bugs freak me out in real life, but I can handle them in Animal Crossing!

Summer is my enemy! It's unbearably hot in Australia, I'm not able to wear my favorite clothes/layer up to look more androgynous and it's both Christmas and my birthday... it's an all around awful time, but in-game on the other hand? I love summer in Animal Crossing!! Everything is so vibrant and lush, I love the grass shade and how weeds look, plus there's sharks! 🦈
