Would you like a feature where you can sell anything from your inventory at anywhere you like and not just run to a store to sell what you got?

I say this is a good idea because we?re in a time when people would like to do things immediately rather than wait until you reach a stop. I know you can?t buy anywhere you want as it must be at a shop, but I would like to sell immediately after I catch a fish so I don?t have to worry about making too many fishing trips. Especially when I?m doing it on Tortimer?s island. I know you can save anywhere starting with Wild World, and starting with City Folk, you can design simple patterns anywhere outside the Able Sisters. I?m not sure if you would like to extend this to selling, but it makes things quicker. And you don?t have to hate on those Sea Basses.

i mean i guess it would be useful but it would feel a little weird i think. like reese would have nothing to do though i doubt she would be the one you would sell to since nook is almost the only one who will be on the island from the beginning. but still :I idk

Nah, those types of quality-of-life changes just oversimplify things, and take away the charm from the game completely.

It really just takes away from the game for the sake of convenience.

If it's a feature, they might as well just include a shop tab on the menu where we could buy and sell things (like the sims)

But pretty sure it's not gonna happen. We already saw the player selling things to Timmy in the treehouse stream.

I mean, I don't have a problem walking to the shops, so I don't need such a feature that much tbh.

I'd rather go to the shop to sell things but have duplicate items stackable, and the fruit stacking to increase from nine.

i cant see this being added ever myself, it would be pretty strange... like where would the money come from? where would the items go? why should the game be simplified that much?

It's a little too convenient if you ask me. I kind of like bringing my items back and forth to sell them, it also wouldn't really make sense for your items to just disappear out of your pockets like that.

I know that I've spoken a lot about convenience with the NookPhone for example and a possible banking app but I think this is just a step too far.

But maybe if you want to sell furniture you could like put it somewhere near your house (maybe a dedicated spot for it) and they'll come pick it up the next workday and give you bells for it? That'd be a way to get rid of a lot of items simultaneously without undermining the physical shops.

I don't mind having to go to the store to sell things and most of the time when I go fishing, I just release the common fish and keep the rare ones. It would be nice to sell things right away, but it just would take the spirit of Animal Crossing away for me if they did that.

So like the pickup box from Stardew Valley? Where at the end of the day, the items inside are sold when you go to sleep (but for acnh, its sold when a new day dawns at 6am)
