Series on Netflix, Hulu, etc

Just finished watching The King: Eternal Monarch (good k-drama if you like science fiction stuff it was fun trying to figure things out). Series I’ve watched on Netflix that are at the top of my head are Black Mirror (I love this series so much! Best), Stranger things, Sex Education, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Crash Landing on You (k-drama), The Witcher. I also watch some anime that I haven’t watched yet that are available there (I usually watch anime on streaming sites but netflix is convenient when I want to watch on tv).

I’ve watched every season of Riverdale (yes, until now) but that’s just because I’ve been into it for so long that I just want to see how it ends lol. It used to be okay in the first few seasons then it got kind of ridiculous the longer it got. Like, not that I hate musicals but it kinda annoyed me when they have episodes of just pure singing which had no relation to the storyline and I just skip those now since I’m not really missing out on anything. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I've watched Dexter on television, but I went ahead and watched it on Netflix. On Amazon Prime, they have two seasons of a show called Hanna. I really enjoyed the movie back in 2011, so I was curious about it being turned into a show. I liked it, but I was indifferent on some things.

Hulu:
Motherland: Fort Salem
Deca-Dence (anime)
Cloak & Dagger (it's meh)
The Strain

Netflix:
Warrior Nun
Ctrl Z
3%
Riverdale .-.

Disney+
The Mandalorian

Amazon Prime:
The Boys (waiting on the new season)
Watchmen

It’s definitely here and there! Most of the time it’s photos of the body, but the crime scene can still have the body some of the time. If you are looking for some episodes to avoid, I would suggest looking at season 6 episode 6 (The Crime Scene) and season 6 episode 17 (Sicko). Those are the most bloody ones I can think of off the top of my head. I would say that most episodes don’t really show a body, the murder cases are not that common and the crimes are more like robberies than anything. I really hope that you can watch it, but if it makes you uncomfortable then it’s totally understandable!
Thanks for those episode heads up! I'll keep an eye out when I get to those and prepare myself lol. That sounds fine though, I just didn't want like a gore scene lol. That's why I can't watch most medical shows. I don't want to watch someone's surgery. Ick! But this sounds perfectly doable. I'll give it a shot! :D

I checked this place for some good suggestions but I feel like I've watched everything now ugh please recommend me some good thrillers!!

I’ve been watching a couple of series on both Netflix and Hulu. I love them all to death, and they are shows that I have finished and I watch over and over again! I notice something new every time, so I’ll try and explain them without spoilers (because these shows deserve to be enjoyed). All of these are sitcoms, but I would give them a try regardless.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine: My favorite show by far! It’s based around detectives in New York City (hence the name Brooklyn 99) and does have crimes/murder in it. It’s still going, but the season is over. If you are afraid of blood, I would not recommend. It doesn’t have it a lot, but it is murder so it does happen! There are many diverse people in the series and has amazing LGBT representation. It tackles hard topics and handles them well, and the humor in it is super smart and goofy! There are a lot of main characters, so I’ll just say that there is a goofy and silly detective, his loyal best friend, the local smart cookie who loves binders, the badass, the yogurt lover, and oafs, and the serious captain. 10/10, would watch 15 million times.
The Good Place: A show based on the afterlife. The world building is amazing and you can bond with the characters really well! The main character Eleanor Shellstrop is, well, dead. She finds that she has gotten into the Good Place! But... there’s a twist. The plot points and the twists are BIG and you wouldn’t see them coming in a million years. Big recommendation, I would give it a rating of 8/10. I don’t rewatch it often, but I enjoyed the show and it has some really quotable lines.
Parks and Recreation: A show based around a woman (Leslie Knope) in government. The show follows her and how she struggles and thrives in her department. It is really good story and it shows how she battles her town and tries to do all the good she can for the town she loves. My heart goes out to Leslie and it’s a super funny show! I would rate it a 9/10, it’s so good and I rewatch it a lot! The characters are iconic I can vibe with them so much.

Watch Kim's Convenience/Community/The Office!! they sound like the kind of shows youd love hahah
Recently finished season three of Dark - the series where the plot continually expands and doesn't really go anywhere.

Some of my favorites are Mindhunter, The Witcher, Sherlock, Black Mirror, and Altered Carbon. Would recommend all of them. :)

i don’t watch many series as my attention span is almost nonexistent and i’m also very picky LMAO but on netflix, my favourites are grey’s anatomy (i’ve rewatched this one so many times smh), shameless (US version), how i met your mother, the end of the f***ing world (mods pls don’t give me a warning for this one, i didn’t come up with the name😔), black mirror, you, bojack horseman, on my block and the fosters! these might not appeal to you depending on what kind of stuff you like but these are my personal favourites aha :p

also riverdale? garbage. the writing is so ridiculous that i’m starting to think the whole show is just a big joke lmaoo

Lucifer! I'm on season 3 so far and really liking it!

fjsisjsk I love Brooklyn Nine-Nine sooo much
Literally the only shows I’m super hyped for are Lucifer s5 and Brooklyn Nine-Nine s8 😂

Oh my gosh I just looked up Kim’s Convenience and wow?? It looks really good and I’m surprised I haven’t seen it at all! I was looking into Community and didn’t know if I would like it, but after you recommended it I think I’ll give it a try!! And The Office is truly a gift to this world, I’ve been watching it for so long at it never gets old '~'

Hm, I could make this list actually gigantic since I watch streaming services instead of TV all day, but i'll try to make this pretty concise, and just include the ones that are on the most popular streaming service, Netflix. This list is no particular order...

The Witcher - Very cool series and I accidentally ended up binge watching it because it was just that good. While I came into it expecting it to be heavily tied to the video game series, after watching it I can honestly say that it's fine for watching with family or anyone else who hasn't heard of the franchise as a whole before, and Henry Cavill really does play the part of the witcher extremely well in my opinion. Also kind of reminds me of game of thrones due to the medieval setting, but with less nudity and more witty remarks.
Final Space - Very fun show to watch, and while the plot is genuinely quite good, I mainly watched it for the great comedy that the show has. Reminds me a lot of adventure time and regular show, except with an actual fixed story instead of random skit episodes.
Studio Ghibli Films - Couldn't choose just one, honestly if you have Netflix you should watch at least half of these films, they're just amazing. They give off a very chill vibe for me, and all of them are perfect films to watch late in the afternoon, with a cup of hot cocoa in your hand and your fluffiest pyjamas on.
Violet Evergarden - Quick warning if you decide to watch this with others; it's a very emotional anime series, and even if you're not the type to cry to shows or movies, expect to have to hold back a few tears throughout it's duration. This is probably in the running for my favourite short anime of all time, and is one of those rare few shows that have stuck with me long after i've finished watching it. While the manly men out there might think it's an anime primarily made for girls, and would rather watch an epic action show instead, I would still heavily recommend watching it no matter what your personal preferences are.

Riverdale is trash but it's the kind of dumpster fire I can't help but watch! I religiously watch the show. It is super cringey a lot, fair warning, and very teenager-y. It's my one weird teen drama show I allow myself to watch!

As for shows I'd actually recommend, I just finished Brooklyn 99 on Hulu, and it was amazing! I also just finished watching Avatar: The Last Airbender and enjoyed that too (for a second time). I'm also making my way through all of the DC universe shows on the CW (the flash, arrow, etc) and I'm almost caught up. It has taken me about a year to catch up since there are so many shows, but you can watch them all on Netflix. That makes for a great really lengthy stretch of content!

Other shows I've seen on Netflix and enjoyed (but haven't seen in a while) were: Sense8, Merlin, The OA, etc.

I'm currently watching It's Okay to Not Be Okay and Crash Landing on You on Netflix! I've recently watched Hospital Playlist and Mr. Sunshine on Netflix, both of which are now some of my favorite shows ever

My Favorite Series Include:

Star Trek Deep Space Nine
Star Trek The Next Generation
Star Trek Voyager
Parks and Recreation
The Office

Hmmm... well, I mostly binge the original Twilight Zone. I finished 'I Am Not Okay With This' and now I have to wait for the next season to come out. 🙃

Currently watching Adventure Time cause I never got into it when I was younger and an artist on tik tok's art got me interested.

I'm also watching Rugrats (mostly cause they don't have All Grown Up), Daria, and I'm thinking of checking out OKKO.

I gave up TV for streaming a while ago so everything I watch is on some streaming service or another, but here are some of my favorites.

Netflix:
- Outlander
- The Crown
- Violet Evergarden
- The IT Crowd
- Mr. Sunshine

Hulu:
- It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
- What We Do in the Shadows
- The Goldbergs
- Fresh Off the Boat

VRV:
- The Wild Thornberrys
- Attack on Titan
- RWBY

Disney+:
- Gargoyles
- Darkwing Duck
- Chip & Dale's Rescue Rangers

There are plenty more, but those are some of the best from off the top of my head.

Amazon Prime:
- The Expanse

Netflix
- Hannibal
- Breaking Bad
- Better Call Saul (Even better than Breaking Bad)

One hundred percent sure I'll forget something, but off the top of my head:

Prime Video
-The Expanse

Netflix
-Santa Clarita Diet
-Haunting of Hill House
-Lucifer
-Marvel and DC suite of shows
-Seven Deadly Sins

Hulu
-Future Man
-Shut Eye
-Catch 22
