ur scum
What's your avatar? Yukiko Amagi, best girl from Persona 4.
@Endless
How often do you attend to post each day? 3-8 per day/night cycle depending on work and school
Gun to your head, you had to lynch 1 player off the nonexistent content, who do you lynch? Ashtot
There is a red button, a green button, and a yellow button, which to click? Green, my favorite color
What's your avatar? N/A
Forum mafia experience? About 25 games
Anyway, I hope that people can start to begin to take this game seriously (*cough cough* Ashtot *cough cough* pillow bunny).
@Dad I was kinda hoping that some noob scum might latch onto option number 3 in my first post, but yeah, probably wasn't gonna happen anyway.
Anyways, g'night all
RLing provides information in later days due to the fact that mafia will inherently give clues to their partners in the process. But you're not far off; both rling and nling are abhorrent wastes of the first day. What I was suggesting was scumhunting, just in words rather than with a blanket label. We had this discussion last game, but I still stand by my statement that RLing is much worse than NLing. With no lynch, yeah, you don't gain any information, but you don't gain much information with a random lynch either, and you lose someone in the process. In a scenario where there's little to no leads anyways, the only information we can get is who went along with the random lynch and who didn't. That tells us nothing besides potential alliances that players may have.
I say we go with a different option than the given three and try to scumhunt today. From there, we should have a better idea who to lynch.
TFW English major mucks up basic grammar.Idk about you, but potential allegiance tells is great tbh.
Hi kids, I'm not dead, and hopefully I won't get n1ed again. It'd be great to survive to d2 at some point. Mafia, if we can make some sort of deal, that would be fantastic.
@Ender: I more or less wanted to bring up #3 because it was both a bad idea and the one idea on Dolby's list that was that it's the one he wouldn't recommend, but he seemed fine with the other two options. I agree that no lynching is a bad idea too, but random lynching is pretty bad as well. Then again, no lynch is truly random on forum games really.
Btw, do you know EnderWiggin? A person with a lot of experience coming out of nowhere to this forum, like you.
Friggin' EnderWiggun. That is all on this subject.

Actually I lied:

This more or less sums up why I think they're weak mafia. What interests me right now is that Dolby is putting forth a lot of effort to appear town: very first post of the game (after starting) was him making a list of options that he later claimed was a post to bait new people. Do you guys think Dolby was actually baiting there or just posting for the sake of posting? If he wasn't serious in that post, then why does he still seem serious about lynching Ashtot?
Read justice's and Wiggin's walls.Btw, do you know EnderWiggin? A person with a lot of experience coming out of nowhere to this forum, like you.
Wiggin isn't a real English word and I watched the movie, I didn't read the book. Therefore I have plausible deniability.
Ouch. You literally had my username staring you in the face while you quoted my grammar mistake you clod.
1) I disagree completely. The basis of scum hunting is finding when somebody makes an illogical move and you force them to explain it. Finding alliances is nice, sure, but that doesn't get you anywhere in terms of lynching someone. Illogical actions do.Err, you DO realise that potential alliances is the most base level of scumhunting? So that's like, really good?
Idk about you, but potential allegiance tells is great tbh.

Oh. Hey. SarasaKat.
Since you mentioned scumhunting, how about you start it off? Any reads to contribute to help us get rolling?
Anyway, two people i'd like to push forward for lynching today
Crys
Used to be Crystal, posts tend to lack substance unless propelled by being a lynch candidate. Weak gameplay in general
Ashtot
Potentially strong town, but is known for games with weak townplay and jokes.
Keep in mind that I haven't played tbt mafia in almost a year so things have probably changed quite a bit
wow i got rekt gudYour play has impressed me so far too. /s
@Ashtot: If Ender is scum why're you voting Dolby? (Or are they both red in your opinion?)/QUOTE]
they're both scum
also dolby is a strong player

Ftr, I'm sick and bored and doing nothing else so you'll probably see a lot of me for at least the next few IRL days.

25 games and you offer no lynch? Was that a bait too? Please tell me that was a bait.
didn't realize this was a serious game. that's too bad since i suck at mafia
i agree that RL is better than NL, but it's still not very good. RL doesn't give us much info, because people will generally act the same they always do so you can't get many reads out of that. discussion can't be taken too seriously since during the day we have no idea what the lynchee's alignment is. and it doesn't really matter what potential teams are if we don't know who the mafia are. dolby is obvious scum though so who cares

he's probably bussing one of them, like why would someone who hasn't played in a year feel like they should be the one to decide who we lynch
lol wtf dolby was putting ideas forward like anyone normally does, this does not indicate bussing. that logic is garbage
@Enderwiggin You seem to be strongly opposed to a NL. Why?
Let's put it this way, Town is guaranteed to lose someone during the night phase. Or, well, not guaranteed but likely anyway. This is going to 100% be a town. If we no lynch, we reach Day 2 with.... not much information? Cool we know one of us is town. They're dead. No PR is going to do anything unless we got something really funky.
And we've got a bunch of talking but no action to back it up. It's a LOT easier for scum to talk then to act.
I don't like RLing either. I prefer to find someone scummy and get them lynched. But some information is better than none. Therefore a random lynch would be preferable to a no lynch. Why? Because voting records are voting records. And wifoms included, that's information that helps me scumhunt.
wow i got rekt gud

they're both scum
