Sharing patterns in New Horizons

This has probably been talked about before, but since the Switch doesn?t have a camera, will we still be able to share patterns like with QR codes on the DS? Has anything been said officially about this yet? I hope there will still be a way to share designs because I loved that from New Leaf.

Even if we can’t share them with others, I hope we can still create designs at least for ourselves.

i've seen many ideas about how we could go about sharing patterns. one was since the game will have nintendo app integration we'll be able to share our patterns that way, since phones can read qr codes and such. the second one was that we'll have to personally visit islands we want patterns from, and i feel like this would be a bad way to go about it; it would be cool for smaller community sharing but if you wanted your patterns to be "out there" with the rest of the community it may not be as easily accessible.

Also if they have the dream suite or some sort of new concept where we visit someone else’s island without actually going there, it’s possible we might be able to get them like that.

It might be because I never experienced the convenience of New Leaf's QR codes, but I'm not too worried about this.
Nothing ever stopped us before from posting our designs online and letting people copy them!

There better be a way to get patterns otherwise my town is screwed. I can't design to save my life.
