Signature Help?

Every time I try to put a picture (It's a gif) as my signature, it says I can't put gifs in it? How do I fix it, because I don't see anything for it in the store, and I've seen PLENTY of people with moving signatures! It's 500 x 218 so it should be within the limit of size? I'm not so sure what it is

Also, how do I make it so I have like more than one signature? Such as, say you have a signature of your first town, and when you refresh the page, it's a completely different picture/gif. How do I do that as well?

I did it both ways

at the bottom of the signature page it says

"Can Upload Animated GIF for Signature NO"

I can't find where to change that?

Upload your .gif to an image hosting site like imgur.com, and insert the URL as an image when you're editing your signature:



As for the the signature cycling, most people use an external site like http://signavatar.com/ if I'm not mistaken.

actually me and my friends use http://sig.grumpybumpers.com/ for shuffling our sigs

And I use a link for my gifs.. maybe ur using a bad link?

I don't have the insert image button right there? I'll try using imgur though

How does that work? Do you use one of the buttons, or do you put it in the "upload signature picture" in option 1?

I tried the imgur, but it still says "you may not upload animated images"

you can copy and paste this html code

[img]paste Image url here[img]

If you want a sig that changes every time u refresh, you need to:

use the link I gave you

log in

type the urls of all the Images you want in each slot

press submit

copy that URL it gives you and paste it in the HTML code above....

aah It still doesnt work though! at the bottom of the signature page there are things like "allow this? YES" "allow that? YES" but the "can upload animated GIF for signature? NO" and I have no idea how to change it. I looked in the settings but I dont think it was in there, I think that's the problem on why its not working

Those settings don't matter. Make sure you're clicking this button instead of attempting to use the uploader at the bottom of the page:



Enter your URL and it should work. You could also type exactly what's shown in that image and just replace my URL with yours.
