I've had a drawing idea for a little while where Artemis is floating next to the Chomp King and she tells him to "torch 'em" (cause he spits fire lol), I still need to finish the sketch but here's part of what I have so far. I always used to reeeeally dislike Magikoopas for some reason but they're starting to grow on me hehe, they're so mischievous

also if it wasn't obvious these guys are my comfort characters lol

alright I've got good and bad news. good news, I (somehow) managed to fit both of them on the same page! bad news, the size discrepancy is so off it's actually kinda hilarious

canonically the Chomp King is very large, so he will tower over basically everyone, much less a normal sized magikoopa. so Artemis ends up looking like a little speck next to him no matter though, I'll get this sorted out soon enough. besides, they're looking pretty great not gonna lie hehe I think when this drawing is finished I may single out Artemis for solo art bc I like her pose in that sketch

Decided to see what I could draw in 5 minutes. I've been drawing Lucía recently, so I went with her for this sketch. ^^

I think the sketch looks pretty neat so I might do a final version, aha.

You know, I'm so glad we have this thread. I feel like it's nice to have more than 2 pairs of eyeballs on a sketch before the final product. I'm constantly destroying the life of my sketches once I color over them, so here's a glimpse before the horror, lol:

I've been drawing a lot of ac villagers lately and I decided on drawing Shino for this drawing!

Obviously it's still a huge wip, but I think it looks good so far! I'm also going to draw Shino in her NH outfit, since the last time I drew her I used her pocket camp outfit for some reason lol

I'm also thinking of maybe making a little story to go along with this piece when it's done too but idk yet

Tried sketching the whale plush as a villager and definitely the shape is a bit too anatomical to be as cute (kinda reminds me of the gorilla villagers) but I wanna explore this idea and I thought it was fun enough to share! It would also explain why you can catch fish and stuff if the anthropomorphic ones are aliens. imagine if animal crossing was just on earth but all the anthropomorphic animals were invasive aliens- i’m getting into creepypasta territory-
I mean actually REAL FOOTAGE OF NEXT ANIMAL CROSSING

(Oof I think this might be one of my favorite drawings so far and I'm not even close to done)

Anyways, this is a little drawing I decided to make for my 3rd TBT anniversary, which is coming up in a few weeks! I also wanted to include a lot of references to collectibles that my friends have given me, events I've taken part of, and more! I'll put it in a spoiler since there's a lot to unpack, even though it's just a sketch right now lol

Edit: Here's the finished piece! This was a lot of fun to make

So, the three little wisps represent the three potions in my lineup, the Eerie Star Potion, Purple Bat Potion, and the Raven Wings Potion! Even though these collectibles aren't super high end, I still love them and cherish them to this day.

The three lights below the moon represent my teams for TBTWC 21, Camp bell tree 21, and Camp bell tree 23, The bellflowers, Buzzy Bees, and International Space Cetaceans! Even though for the first two, I wasn't on the winning teams, I still had a lot of fun interacting with my team/cabinmates nonetheless!

The three literal easter/Halloweaster eggs behind the bush are my favorite eggs that I own, my Moonlight egg, Cobweb egg, and Dark egg!

Anyways, I also decided to include Fang and me my resident rep, Captain Koopa! Fang is holding my four feathers, my Blue, Pavè purple, Cool, and Hot feather, while my rep is holding the bisexual flag, because I'm proudly bisexual ❤

Anyways, I probably still have at least another hour of work before this is done, but I can't wait to see the finished product!

Thank you so much Bug In a finished drawing I would try to do that stuff with things like lighting and object shapes instead of literally lines all the time haha. But I agree it can be a lot of fun. Thinking about triangular composition this year has been great.
