So I have been trying to get better at drawing these last couple of days.
I want to know what you guys think/what advice you can give me, I currently use Sketches for iPad.

Whoop that's it so far, if anyone wants a drawing I have a free thread in the museum shop.
Any advice from you good drawers would be loved!!
I know it's terrible but everyone has to start somewhere.

Can use some shading like Bowie said.
But for your first time at drawing they aren't too bad. Just keep practicing.

Aww thanks, I'm so going to try shading. I guess, but they are pretty bad lol.

some things u can definitly try are softer and quicker line strokes, more contrast in colors, shading, and color blending!

Fire Alpaca is pretty good for digital. East to create smooth lines. It's free too.
If you're looking for something more advanced try Sai.

For coloring traditional art, I would recommend going in one direction and doing small circles in areas where you want to blend colors. You could also use more layers to get rid of the white spaces.

Thanks, but my 2:30am brain read that as 'I would recommend drawing one direction' like the band.

As a drawing eyes-lover, I feel you could get somewhere if you paid attention to the proper shapes of them!
Most of these are my eyes, but they may help to see how they should be more shaped as. Eyebrows too, they are more shapely ^^

Nope I have a iPad. And yeah I had my proper paper and pencils, obviously I have paper and pens but I don't have my proper drawing stuff xD

You can draw well with normal paper and pencils too! Getting art paper and special art pencils isn't going to make you a spectacular artist XD

Well obviously it won't make you a better artist instantly.. but the texture of the paper can make a HUGE difference though.. this also goes for pencils. I like to work with softer pencils.. those cheap ones are horrible to use in my opinion. also I can draw a lot better on the right paper. (though I can doodle and sketch on everything )

this is my experience when it comes to pencils and paper. xD
