Well I went camping earlier this month, but that was the only like "vacation" type thing I got to do.
For the rest of the summer my plans are:
-Work
-Swim
-Work
-Get sunburnt
-Work
-Got to the ocean at least once
-Work
-Probably propose to my boyfriend
-& Work!
Nothing really. I wanted to get a summer job but I cant drive and at this point I would be there only a month and a half. I wanted to volunteer but I cant drive. I wanted to hang out with my friends but they're all too busy, too far away, not friends anymore, or I don't feel comfortable with them. O want to go outside but IT'S SO DANG HOT OUT.
And I'm gonna go back to school in august, just as tired and sad as I was when I left.
I’ve been working pretty much full-time. The only friend I really hang out with is overseas, so outside of work I spend time with family or do solitary hobbies like reading or playing games. The first week after classes I went to the beach, and I’d like to go to the aquarium before I go back to school.
I’m excited (and a little bit apprehensive tbh) for school to start up again, though!
Well, since graduating college, all I do is work haha. But in August, I have a company holiday, effectively giving me a 3 day weekend so I might go somewhere.
Working, working, and working. My shifts are usually 7-5 so once I get home I have just enough time to make dinner, shower, then go to bed so I can get enough sleep for the next work day lol.
My days off are usually spent playing games or going to the gym.
Other than that, I don't have much else planned for summer. Just moved to a new state so I don't know where everything is yet.. once we get car insurance I'm gonna start exploring with my bf.
Mostly just hanging out around the house, I just reached age of adulthood recently so I wouldn't mind doing some work towards independence-related stuff, once I get over my cold, that is.
getting ready for uni! for the first month of summer i was in japan and korea to visit family and also thrive, and for the rest of the summer i'm making money and doing some studying to prep for next year! i'm also planning to do a lot of hanging out with my friends because we've never been so free in our lives (every past summer in high school, we've all been studying or interning, so this is the first time we're pretty cut loose )
I've been very proactive this summer compared to all my other summers. I started playing tennis sophomore year and now I've been going to a ton of practices, games, etc and I've been trying to work on my serve, forehand and topspins since they look pretty cool. On top of tennis, I've been also doing summer school and partying, pretty hard. Went to at least 3 barbecues so far, and it's been pretty great. I have a beach trip planned out with my best friend and I'm still going to work harder ! On top of that, I've been trying to start a new club at school and do homework so that's fun too. Just been busy all weekdays, since I have tennis in the mornings at 8 and since my summer school is at my high school and it starts at 9 and ends at 3, I've been very devoid of sleep :-(
