Pretty sure Shino is officially a guy, I don't think they'll change the established pattern of only males having horns/antlers for one villager.
Not that I care. She's already one ofmy OC in animal form and I sincerely hope for a matching personality please don't be peppy or jock or lazy

Nah, Yoshino is a feminine name in Japan as well as another one of her foreign names being Sakura. The eyebrows were something Japanese noble women did in the past as well. And if they were really going to make it a male, they'd probably go with one of the more neutral kimonos.

As for personality, she is the one we have the likeliest indication of what she will be out of all of them. Cause ignoring the pattern in the personalities indicating she is Peppy, she also has her dream vacation home being shown as "A Stage to Jam for Japan" easily eliminates Normal and Snooty while suggesting Peppy since they are all about the spot light and being a musical star. I can give a little room for Sisterly since they got the punk girl personality though. Not sure her pose reads Sisterly on the card though, it's pretty dainty.

I like Sasha's design, but I'm not sure if I'll pursue him/her if the personality ends up being lazy. Not too much of a fan of lazy villagers in this game and I already plan on moving Marty in via amiibo. I ordered two packs of cards, and if I just HAPPEN to get Sasha's card, it's a definite yes, but if he(?) ends up being lazy...nah.

While I quite like Ione, I won't be hunting for any of the new villagers. Instead, my mind is set on Ace, one of the returning villagers who was one of my original six villagers from my first town in the GCN version. The nostalgia! I could now have an island with all six of those villagers. =)

I've just said goodbye to my snooty squirrel Mint. I did this because I want to make room for a new snooty squirrel, Ione. At least I hope Ione is snooty. If they aren't I think I would hunt for them anyway but I would prefer that they are snooty. I also love the design of Chabwick, I think he looks adorable. However I already have 3 lazy's on my island and I'm not sure I want another but I'll see.

I do also love the design of Shino and may hunt for them depending on their personality. I have a feeling they will be snooty and that would be fine with me but I also wonder if they could be uchi. I already have a uchi deer so if this is the case then Shino may not be right for me.

possibly quinn as her birthday (20th january) is the day before mine and thats pretty awesome imo !! and she looks pretty cool, plus i think iona's design is cute

It's a toss between Dom and Faith. I only have one spot left on my island that hasn't been filled up by a Dream Villager, and Dom just looks so cool and cute at the same time... Unfortunately, I already have a sheep, Frita. So Faith the koala it is.

I think I might hunt for Shino if I can't get their amiibo card. It could all come down to whether or not they have an uchi/sisterly personality since I don't have a villager of that type on my island.

I was thinking of possibly getting Roswell to replace Alfonso, but then Alfonso really really grew on me and I don't want him to leave anytime soon. I needed 2 alligators for my new theme and got Alfonso and Boots. I couldn't really justify having 2 lazy alligators though and it seems he is lazy. If he was smug or jock I would consider it as Boots is a jock and I don't have any smugs anymore (had to knock off one personality type to fit 3 normals). My least fave personality is jock, so ideally Roswell would be the smug I've been waiting for haha, but unfortunately it doesn't seem so. I'm sure I'll come to appreciate Boots more.
