So, Which of the new villagers are you going to hunt?

I'm going on a Amiibo Card/Nook Mile hunt for Petri, Ace, Frett and Azalea.

While I won't invite Azalea to my island as then I'll have three snooty villagers and there are two as of now, which one I will replace if the personality pattern is correct, I will invite Petri, Ace and Frett to my island of course!
Petri is a must. If she's a female Snooty then I'll ship her with Raddle as I have it planned with a Hospital fake building I made just for him.
Ace is coming over as I semi dreamed of having him and it's turning to be true. Sprocket will be replaced with Ace.
Lastly, Frett. I do think he looks the most interesting out of all of the returning villagers so he's a for sure coming over. I will replace him with Murphy.

Sasha, Shino, and Petri are the ones I'm most crazy for. I do want Cephalobot but that really depends on his personality. If he's a smug villager like some are speculating then that's a definite keep as having a smug robot octopus sounds hilarious to me. Wouldn't mind having Ione but that depends on her personality and the rest of my villagers personality. Faith I've heard might be a sisterly so I may replace Cherry with her if she does turn out to be one.

Hoping by the 5th that amiibo cards are more accessible for purchase.

I feel like the hype swallowed me whole cause I really want to hunt for the newcomers, but it also feels a tad silly since some of them are going to be on the rarer side of things (if on mystery islands) cause their species list is kind of thick like Sasha and Ione's. I know there are a couple Squirrels I haven't seen STILL (Pecan and Poppy) with all the hunting I have done. So I'm not sure how realistic it is to think I could hunt for any of them in particular cause I don't have hundreds of tickets like most content creators do!

Sasha - had fun debating his gender, pretty coloring, haven't had a Rabbit yet, digging this look on a male rabbit as he stands out
Petri - Geeky Scientist Queen Mouse, would be fun to have with Cobb/Raddle/Robots, don't have a Snooty
Shino - don't have a Peppy, pretty design (Negatives - Raymond 2.0, friend likes her as well)
Tiansheng - I enjoy the Monkeys more than most, he could really grow on me once on the island (Negative - Already have a permanent Jock)

Want To Hunt, Unlikely Permanent
Marlo - Only Hamster design I enjoy
Cephalobot - Checks off both a Robot and Octopi to cycle through

Don't Plan On Hunting, But I Like Them
Ione - Pretty coloring, love Squirrels (Negatives - Friend likely wants her, tail seems a bit over the top/tacky)
Quinn - Good looking Sisterly and Eagle (Negative - Pierce is permanent on my island)
Azalea - Pretty rhino (Negative - Experienced Hornsby and Merengue already)
Rio - Kind of interesting Ostrich which I haven't had yet (Negative - Other Ostriches are more appealing overall)

Little or No Interest
Chabwick - Could get invited come snow since I'll be taking in my first Penguin in which I don't have any I really want to keep
Ace- Exists, nothing great or awful here
Frett - Better dogs out there, nothing awful though
Roswell - Cool markings and coloring (Negative - Don't like the eyes)
Zoe - (Negatives - Colors aren't appeasing, bland)
Faith - (Negatives - Her face looks glued onto her, disturbing)

I'd really love to get Shino, Ione, and Sasha, in that order. However, I'm really hoping that none of them are of Normal personality. I don't think I could deal with another one on my island, I just find their personality to be really boring in this game. A shame that there are so many cute Normal villagers in the game.
I'm also hoping that on the 5th I can get some Amiibo cards because I've been having no luck with pre-orders. Thanks, scalpers.

Going to hunt for Tiansheng, Shino, Sasha and Ione.

Primary island- Quinn! Even though my island's got two uchis ATM, I'm fine with a third for a while (one of which is my starter, who's permanent)
On the other end of things, though I'm not too interested in them to begin with, Sasha is likely not ever going to be invited if they're a lazy. My starter Hopkins is here to stay and another blueish-coloured lazy bunny with the same dialogue as Hopkins will dilute it, you know? (this is why I haven't invited Doc, either)

Secondary island- Rio! I've built this island after my childhood ACGC town. Rio's an old favourite, still on my Gamecube 16+ years later. She became an absolute must the second I saw her on the Direct
I'd like to eventually rotate through the other DNM/ACGC returnees here but it'll be a slow process. If Faith is reclassed as uchi, it'll be nice to have another when ACGC-era uchis are slim pickings.

Both islands have residents I'm ready to move out now, but I'm definitely waiting it out until November!

Regarding Amiibo cards, with how much preorders have been a mess, I'm going to try on the 5th to sniff around my area for some, but I'm not holding out much hope.

I want Sasha and Shino for sure, no matter their personality. Although I believe they will be lazy and (unfortunately) peppy.

I'm also very interested in Ione, but I want to see how her face emotes when she talks/ makes certain expressions. I like Petri, but she doesn't fit my theme at all. I might invite her for a short time just to get to know her a little while I'm still designing my island though.

I plan to go to Target as soon as they open on the 5th, but am also planning to island hop all day. Before I restarted I cashed in all my miles for NMT, so I'm looking forward to seeing who I encounter. Hopefully I will get the cards I want, but I would rather invite via island hopping if possible. I'm only to the point where my forced camper has moved in, so now I'm saving plots for new villagers.
