I got a 10% level warning for spamming. All I did was ask a question, then the person who i asked the question to told me the answer, and I replied "Ahhhh." Is that really spam?

And I see that I cannot see other people's warn levels, so can u only see it when someone has a level of over 0%?

You can only see your own, teh jerreh uped mine another 10% cause of llamas :/
I now choose to use emoticons less frequently now. :l

I belive with VERRY good behavior but who cares just about everyone thats not a noob has 10% nothing to worry about.

yeah, but i think that this 10% is unjust. so if u say just "k" or "oh" in ur post, thats spam?
Pretty much =/ One worded posts are prohibited =P This is why I try to extend all my replies with as many words as I can.

I believe you can only see YOUR own Warning Level. I don't know how the Warning System works but *maybe* the warning may expire in due time.

really? thats unfair. is this line going to increase my warning level? :O

so instead of "ahhhhh", i say, "Ahhhh, I see."
That could work. Or you could add in more thought to your post, if possible.

Yeah and mine got raised for quoting that llama and saying "rofl"
That is considered spam. At least from the forums I was raised in. If you don't have anything worth to say, like stating your opinion, sharing a fact, or asking a question, don't bother posting. Especially if you just quote something and/or add some L33T talk to your thread.

If you've got a question as to why your warn level was raised, PM a staff member.

We don't need a thread full of posts like; "all i did wuz say LOL!" "hey, mine got raised too!!1!"

Well i'm sort of new to forums so I don't know what is spam, and what's not spam. Sorry I'm going to go read over the rules

Please do.

Yeah, we've had quite a few threads asking what spam actually is.

It's best that you read the rules if you've got questions like that.

...or Google it.

Ok I re-read the rules about 2 times, and now I understand, I'll try my best to stop spamming.

So should I now say, "Rolling on floor laughing" instead?
Well it was an honest question but I see whatcha mean about it...
70%? o===
uh, isn't that a bit too close to a ban???

Well I hope to stay at 20% or if possible, go back to 0% :/

If you posts actually include a subject, predicate, and a complete thought, then your chances of being warned go down significantly...

Saying "Rolling on the floor laughing" isn't any better than "ROTFL."

You could easily press a few more keys on your keyboard and say this:

"Haha! That was really funny! Do you have any more jokes or whatever like that?"

See? Elaborating just a little bit adds a lot.
