Special Edition Gaming Systems?

As you can tell, I'm a big fan of Pokemon. I had this Limited Edition Pokemon X/Y 3DS XL. It look amazing in person!

Unfortunately, I no longer have this system. Do you have any special edition gaming consoles with designs?

At the moment no, but I've been considering getting the Super Nintendo edition of the New 3DS XL. Provided by the time I've saved up the extra money it's not all being sold by scalpers on Amazon x.x

My Japanese 3DS LL Luigi's 30th Anniversary is the only special edition I ever owned, and came with Mario & Luigi: Dream Team pre-installed in it. It was meant to replace my somewhat faulty Ice White vanilla 3DS, but it now suffers from cracked hinge despite not heavily using it.

I'm not the type of person who cares about getting their hardware look good in first place, so I never minded having a boring-but-practical color scheme. Most of my time spent with consoles is actually playing them, not staring at the entire thing.

Whilst on the subject of limited edition consoles, a new ACNL WA 2ds has been announced. Saw it on Facebook just now. Suprised they're still promoting ACNL to be honest I'd have thought they'd want the hype to die down ready for a new switch version

I've had a few throughout the years, mainly LE 3ds consoles. I currently have a PAL New Nintendo 3ds XL SNES Edition, if it counts. (yeah the PAL/JP got the colourful nice ones, glad we never got the purple gray ngl lol).

Plus the HHD 3DS XL... which in hindsight I now consider ugly. But I only see the inside of it most of the time so oh well.

lol I didn't buy all at once. I have 3ds since launch and been collecting them for like, 7 years now? The stuff just accumulated over time and no I'm not like him coz I don't usually buy 2 then keep the other sealed. I'm pretty sure there's a couple of people out there who has a lot more than that.

Man, I remember when the Phantom Hourglass DS Lite came out. There weren't a lot of special edition game consoles back then, so I remember thinking I needed it, lol.

I have a 25th anniversary Super Mario DSiXL, unfortunately it broke back in mid 2013 because my dad tried to fix the mic. I still own it though.

I also have the Link Between Worlds 3DSXL. I got it for a reasonable price ($100) and I needed to replace my old pink 3DSXL which has a semi-broken hinge.

I own the New 3DS XL Pikachu Edition! I upgraded from a pearl pink 3DS and I have no regrets. I absolutely adore the system in every way. I think the colour and design are really cute, I love having the colourful buttons, and I really enjoy the big screens. I was worried that the 3DS would be "too big" as I had heard complaints of it being heavy and awkward to hold but I don't have any issues!

I also a New 3DS (regular size) that came bundled with Super Mario 3D Land. It's also a really nice system, a lot quieter (it doesn't make any click sounds when I open it), and it is easier to travel with. Usually I have my bigger purse with me though, so I can bring either of my DS' without too much hassle.

I have a Zelda-themed N3DSXL, the one that released around the same time as Triforce Heroes. It pairs nicely with the Wiimote that came with Skyward Sword's special edition!

I also have have a Mario DS Lite but idk where it is (it's just a solid bright red, with a white M on the front. Nothing too interesting but it was nice).
