Rules and Information
- All skill levels welcome! However, it is advised that you understand how to play objective to ensure your team's success!
- Games will be hosted in Private Battle Lobbies by event hosts and will run for 1 hour. You must stay the whole hour. The password to the room will be posted both in-thread and in discord before we begin.
- We will be playing a mixture of Turf Wars and Ranked modes (Rainmaker, Tower Control, Splat Zones and Clam Blitz).
- The teams will be divided by prioritising Team Colour into one team! If there is a full team of four they will be playing against the remaining colours. If there is an equal mix, the teams will be comprised of pairs. Eg. 2 reds 2 blues vs 2 greens 2 purples, etc. If there is an unequal mix, the majority of the same colour will be teamed together, while the rest of the players will be radomised. However, the point system will work the same way regardless of team! Each player will be rewarded +3 points for every win during a competitive session, so please try your best regardless of the match up!
- Members who are not playing in a session can also earn participation points by joining a streamed session and cheering your team mates on!
- Purposefully trying to ruin the experience for anyone else or displaying unsportsmanlike behaviour in game or on discord is not allowed! This includes repeatedly boasting about victories, constant complaining, trash-talking, or overly aggressive behaviour. Minimal squidbagging is acceptable
- HAVE FUN!
How to Participate
- Add the host's friend code and post your sign-up form in this thread!
- You may sign up for multiple time slots, but do not sign up for every single session so others can have a chance to play too!
- Players who sign up for a Splatoon Competitive session must stay the full hour. Please do not sign up if you cannot dedicate a full hour to playing! We will be playing with the same lobby throughout instead of switching players around
- Game hosts will be recording the usernames and points of the participants in each session. However, it is recommended that users also take screenshots of sessions their participate in just in case!
