After running the first Splatoon Competitive session, we think that the format of the games can be improved, so we will be tweaking the way the teams work after Sunday, May 9th, 2021 @ 1:00 PM EDT's session. Players who sign up for a Splatoon Competitive session must stay the full hour. Please do not sign up if you cannot dedicate a full hour to playing! We will be playing with the same lobby throughout instead of switching players around. The OP will be changed to reflect this. Thank you!

So I got confused with the comp format so I just wanna confirm so I don't make the same mistakes twice. Will we have to sign up, then 10 minutes before the match you'll make a list of who's competing? And if you signed up but didn't make it on the list then you can't join the lobby? Thanks!

Yes that's right! If there is space in the lobby I can accept people if someone drops out last minute, but those people who get into the lobby have to stay the full hour.
