Splatoon Splatoon 3 Announced: Theories and Hopes

As seen in the above video, Nintendo has confirmed the existence of Splatoon 3. here is a place to talk about theories you might have, or hopes you have for what you would like to see in the game​

I just started playing the 2 one a week ago and I really love it I would love to see a bigger map and more players being able to play

I'm personally excited to see what the Little Buddy's role will be

Hopefully, we're getting male idols this time, since I'm curious how they would look like and how the songs would be. Besides, another female duo would be boring imo, since we already have two. I also guess the setting is based after the events of the final Splatfest and Team Chaos' victory, which I personally like much more than if it would be something like a futuristic looking setting if Team Order would have won. Otherwise, I wonder if Salmon Run will still be a thing in this game, considering that we now have Little Buddy here who seems to be our friend. Would be kinda strange if you would fight against his conspecifics (unless they come up with a "good and bad conspecifics" explanation).

nintendo's e3 presentation is coming up (6/15) and i'm really hoping they'll show us more splatoon 3!!! that being said, have anyone's predictions/hopes CHANGED since the announcement trailer?

i feel like there's going to be some sort of lore re: illegal weapons. the trailer features the inkzooka and, if i remember right, the in-universe reason old specials like the inkstrike aren't in splatoon 2 was because they had to be recalled! maybe they were too dangerous? with how chaotic the lands of splatoon 3 seem to be, i'm wondering if the recall didn't reach this area... or worse, the specials are being used ILLEGALLY! O_O
