They're probably saving them so they have "big" characters to get people interested in the next game. If the newcomers for the next game with FE guys and like Krystal or someone people probably wouldn't be as hyped, but eh, maybe I'm wrong, but that's just my guess.
 
Geez, I haven't been on splatoon for about two weeks... Well... yeah, two weeks or so. I mean, I went on it during splatfest but that was only for a few minutes while I picked a side and skipped through the released stuff that I missed. Haven't even played on Mahi Mahi resort ^^"

First splatfest I actually skipped on. The theme was just... ugh... boring and weird.

I should really get back into splatoon, especially since it's christmas and today is my last day of college for a few weeks. But, the only times I get to play are in the morning which cuts me off from about 95% of you guys. *sigh* Eh, guess I'm used to it by now. Maybe that's why I've spent my time on WoW recently because my friends are usually playing it.

Sucks about the inklings not being in smash, but Bayonetta is pretty awesome. I don't have the game myself, but I've been considering it. Though about the idea of inklings being in the next smash, I remember seeing on tumblr a link to an article about this one being the last installment in the series. Of course, the article said 'maybe', so who knows. But yeah, um, just thought I'd throw in my comment. Now, if you'll excuse me, I shall slink away back into the shadows. *shuffles away*
 
Yeah, I don't see why they'd make another Splatoon, because instead of making a new game with new weapons and such they can just keep updating the current one.

The only reason I see Splatoon getting a sequel is when the NX releases and the Wii U dies out so they make another one to keep up with the new console.
 
I ran into A Carbon Deco who did nothing but use seekers.
I'm embarrassed to say she got me once while I was taking care of another enemy and my back was to her.

I've been away for so long that Mahi Mahi has been announced and the first time I played it was just now during Splatfest and needless to say I was CONFUSED

I even Krakened myself into the water

I just had a match against Team Nice on my Nice file, I'm shocked that Nice needed up being more popular. Did the Twitter polls say Naughty was?
Maybe the popularity is 50/50!

I assumed it wasn't the most popular, but then again, I didn't participate in Splatoon for over a week now so I never noticed which team kept popping up the most in my plaza.
 
I'd say it's pretty 50/50. Up until a few days ago there were lots of Team Naughty in my plaza, but then a bunch of Team Nice members showed up and made me question which side I should've chosen.

I went through the whole Splatfest without battling another Team Naughty though.

I chose this team because I genuinely liked it, but I've been losing Splatfests consecutively.
 
When I was playing earlier, Flounder Heights, Saltspray Rig, Moray Towers, and Mahi-Mahi Resort were depicted on the LED display thingies outside the battle terminal. I thought it was really weird since it usually shows the current Turf and Ranked maps.

During Splatfest it shows all maps regardless of what the current maps are.
 
Actually, just "4" is death in Japan. It's why they remove that floor number from some of their buildings. Superstition based on a pun. Japanese numbers are pronounced a little differently depending on the circumstances, but one of the pronunciations for 4 is "shi", which also means "death".

And I watch far too much anime.
