First off, you unlock the charger at level 4.
Second, the splat charger is my main weapon and I could easily noscope you with it.

I got Splatoon for Christ(Squid)mas, and it's been... what? 3 days, and I'm already level 11. -sweats-. It's really nice that PAL gets a Splatfest literally straight after Christmas too ^ - ^
 
I'm a bit iffy on playing ranked battles because I know if I do I'll care more about my ranking than actually playing the game.
