Sports fans discussion

While the game was a blowout for the most part until the Chiefs started scoring some points late, and thus could be said to be a bit boring since it wasn't all that competitive throughout most of its runtime, I'm quite pleased that the Philadelphia Eagles are this year's Super Bowl Champions. While the Eagles aren't my team, the Chiefs were denied a threepeat, so I'm happy.

Just finished watching the Super Bowl. As a one time only thing, I was rooting for the Eagles since my Vikings and my husband's Ravens got knocked out. So I'm very happy with the result!

I wasn't against the dynasty or a threepeat as much as I just don't like this Chiefs team. I think they're whiny and get too much favoritism. I was very glad that the refs didn't have a major impact on the game besides two offsetting questionable calls early on.

I do wish the QB wasn't almost guaranteed the MVP award, because I thought Sweat on the defense was far more impactful by keeping the Chiefs off the board early.

Oh yeah, there were a good number of Eagles players that were more impactful in this game than Hurts. I'm not really sure why they push the QB so much for MVP awards, it kind of makes it lose its charm imo. Oh well. Congrats to the Eagles for winning though!

First thing I did was text a friend of mine who is an Eagles fan. I said "**** the Eagles... but thanks for beating the Chiefs! So much love right now!"

I am off to a bad start on my post Super Bowl posts. Mainly I used bad language and got a warning. Sorry everyone! I guess I got a little bit of Philadelphia in me for a moment!

Man, found this thread too late
Anyway, leading up to the Super Bowl, I was hoping for other teams to make it to the finals, but once we got the final two teams, I was rooting for the Eagles, so I am satisfied.
