Six more wins for my Dodgers! Hopefully this is the year

Beyond watching baseball, I don't really watch much else. I'll keep an eye on the Lakers close to playoff time and for football I like the Raiders and the Saints, but I'm not heavily invested like I am with beisbol.

They were lowkey my pick to win the WS this year before the playoffs began, and it looks like that may happen... or this comment will age like milk. We'll see, lol.

My very controversial sports opinion is that I strongly prefer the LA Kings shield logo, but maybe that's because that's all I've experienced as a fan. I was too young to appreciate the older logos. The shield is still recognized as the Kings, so that's good.

I'm hoping the Dodgers can pull off the World Series win.

It had to end at some point. My Vikings got their first loss of the season in a very close game against the rival Detroit Lions this week. Why is my division so good this year?

After watching baseball for so many years my intuition for who wins and loses has become sharper. Dodgers are all but guaranteed to win the WS this year being at 3-0 now. Pretty tough to fumble that to be honest. Makes me wonder if I should keep doing this and pick next year's winner as well, LOL.

However the one thing I'll never believe in is sports betting with money involved. I feel like as soon as you bet on certain things like that it usually ends up working against your favor.

So the Dodgers won the World Series like I predicted they would. I find it interesting that both WS game ones from last year and this year ended in a walkoff, LOL. I hope next year's WS can live up to the hype that these two displayed, but it'll probably be difficult.

Congratulations to the Arizona State Sun Devils football team for winning the Big 12 Championship yesterday.They defeated Iowa State 45-19 and claimed the Big 12 title in their first year in the conference.Now they move on to the College Football Playoffs with a shot at the National Championship.

I’m happy that the playoff system changed. It sucked seeing the same teams back when it was the top 4, or even the top 2 before it changed to the first time.

It was even worse in the old days.The National Champion was decided by two polls,the Associated Press Poll and The Coaches' Poll.Some years the polls would disagree and there would be two National Champions.
